31st Demceber 2019

15 minutes until New Year

There was one place he hadn't looked the garage. He opened the door looking around from the door "Abs" he said trying to hear any sort of movement. "Abi" he said try again one more time but it seemed she wasn't in here so he began to close the door

"I'm in here" a quiet voice said from the back. Harry went back in to the building "just follow the trail of loser dust" Abi cries. Harry went around a tall trolly with old paints on it seeing her crying into her knees sat on the floor behind it. 

"what are you doing in here" Harry asks walking closer to her 

"isn't it obvious" Abi said Harry then took a seat next to the girl "I made a complete dick of myself" abi finally lefts her head up to wipe the tears from her cheeks "so I'm hiding" Abi said looking back down

"why are you crying" Harry asks putting her hair behind her ear after he tried to calm her down by placing his hand behind her rubbing her back softly

"I don't know" Abi cries again "for fuck sake I hate crying" Abi puts her head up resting on her knees looking forward "this is such a girl thing to do" Abi wiping her cheek

"but you are a girl" Harry turns her face to look at him. Her eyes were puffy and red. "A very pretty one" he smiles stoking her right cheek under her eye with his thumb 

"you're supposed to be mad" Abi sniffles 

"I am" Harry said "but doesn't mean I'm not curious about what's going on in that busy head of yours" keeping his hands on her cheeks  

"I was-as jealous okay" Abi stuttered a little but still trying to get it out "and and it really freaked me out" 

"why?" Harry questioned Abi just shrugged in response "jealously is a pretty natural human emotion Abs" Harry chuckles

"you don't understand" Abi whispered enough for Harry to hear "i've" Abi starts then breaths in for a second. Harry placed his hand in hers so she knew that she was okay to take her time "I've spent years building this complex. This complex series of booby traps. So that" Abi stutter the last bit "so that nobody can ever get too close and then you come along with your awkward ways and kissing me in the sea and you broke all those walls down and it is just really scary" 

"why is it scary" Harry asks

"I mean what if I lose you" Abi answered "like earlier today that scared me more than I thought it ever could have"

"you know Abs, I was." Harry pulling her face back to looking at him again "I was kinda glad that you got jealous. Now I know your definitely not a robot" he joked making Abi half chuckle and half sob "you have nothing to worry about" Harry smirks "I'm not going anywhere and like I said earlier I like you" Harry smiles. Abi looked straight into his eyes realizing he was already staring back into hers. This made Abi blush more than she had ever in her life time

"I. I like you too" Abi smiles with tears in her eyes happy ones. Harry smiled again then going in for a kiss. Which Abi liked the idea of Harry. He kept his thumb on her cheek then pulling away after kissing her lightly

"that was that scary was it" Harry grinned stroking her chin lightly with his thumb. Abi giggled then leaning back in. They both smiled into the kiss. Actually realizing how much they had been craving it throughout the night.
