When Tom awoke, he noticed he was lying on a crouch in Dumbledores office. Strange. Tom half expected him to take him to the infirmary. So why didnt he?
My mother told me
Tom shook his head and looked around the office. He wanted to get up, but it was as if there was a giant anvil on top of him, preventing him from even moving the slightest. Tom heard footsteps coming, and then a door opening. Tom looked towards the door to see Dumbledore there.
Someday I will buy
Tom closed his eyes for half a second before opening them again. Dumbledore walked towards him and sat in the chair in front of the couch. Tom went to sit up, but Dumbledore put a hand on his shoulder, setting Tom down on the couch again. You need to rest your body, Tom. You used a lot of energy this morning trying to get rid of whatever might be in your head that you ended up passing out. He said. Tom slightly nodded his head and attempted to close his eyes once again.
Galleys with good ores
Tom opened them as soon as the line was said. Tom looked at Dumbledore with the same look he gave him before his breakdown. Dumbledore sighed and looked at Tom with a studying look. "What has been bothering you, Tom? Enough for you to breakdown like that." Dumbledore finally said. Tom sat up on the couch with difficulty and looked out the window. It seemed like hours as Tom looked through that window, once again having a war in his mind about whether or not he should tell.
Sails to distant shores
Tom looked back to Dumbledore and told him all that was happening in his mind. From hearing the song for the past week to the, whatever that was, last night, to hear the song again, to it getting louder, then finally, the reason for his breakdown. Tom told Dumbledore everything. When Tom finally finished, he could see Dumbledore was thinking about everything he said. Still processing everything that he heard. Tom is not sure if he has done the right thing in telling Dumbledore about his problem. At the moment he did not care enough to think about it. All he cared about was that he was glad it was out to someone, even if it was to Dumbledore.
Stand up on the prow
Tom looked back out at the window in an attempt to rid of that song. He could see that the sun was starting to set in the sky. Guessing by the fact that when he first walked into Dumbledores office the sun was barely in the sky, he must have been passed out until the late afternoon, then it must have taken him around two hours to tell Dumbledore about his problem. Maybe three. It was when Dumbledore cleared his throat that Tom looked back at him.
Noble bark I steer
"When exactly did you say this... vision started?" He asked. Tom thought about it for a moment, trying to remember when it took place. He saw that they were on their ships, heading to what looked like England. Could it have been when they were raiding the English Kingdom of Wessex? It seemed to be around that time. Ragnar had long hair at that time, and he looked to be a simple Earl at that time. "I believe it was around the time the Vikings were raiding the English Kingdom of Wessex," Tom answered. "But I am still confused as to why I visioned that. Was it even a vision?" Dumbledore was silent for a moment. Most likely in deep thought. "I believe I might know what is happening to you, Tom. However, I am not sure if you will like what I will have to say." Dumbledore said.
Steady course to the havens
Tom groaned and shook his head. He looked at Dumbledore with a look of pleading. "I do not care if it means having to leave Hogwarts at this point professor!" Tom exclaimed. "I just want to know why I visioned that, why I keep hearing that damned song over and over in my head, why me its happening to." Tom finished. He leaned against the couch to try and calm his racing heart. He could not take this any longer. He wanted, no need, to know what the bloody hell was happening to him.
