18 ~ Finale

Y'all arent ready for this

Julie's POV

I anxiously pace around the studio waiting for the boys to come back, a smile plastered on my face. After the stamp dissolved, I got a lot stronger and Im mostly back to normal now. 

Finally, I hear the familiar whoosh of my boys poofing right out side of the studio. They walk through the doors.

"You did it!" I yell as I start towards them, before I reach them, I notice somethings off. They aren't excited, somethings wrong. "What happened?" 

Luke's POV 

I run to her and wrap her in my arms, trying to hold back my tears. She wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me close. 

"What happened?" She says again, mumbling into my neck. 

I pull away and look into her eyes. "It worked, Caleb crossed over" I say sadly.

"Well I figured since the stamp is gone and you're all back." She says "but if that's all that happened, you'd be more excited. Tell me the truth" 

I look down at the floor, I can't even tell her. "Well, we figured out our unfinished business," i say. 

"Oh, I thought you guys didn't care about that anymore" she says. I look up and see that she looks hurt.

"Our unfinished business was to get Caleb to crossover" Alex says quietly. There's a moment of silence as we all process his words.

"We've already started the process of crossing over" Reggie says, with the same quietness. 

I keep looking down at the floor. I just can't face Julie. I can't stand seeing her so hurt and sad. 

"No there has to- we can't just-" Julie tries to speak but her sobs combined with confusion stop her from continuing. 

"There's Nothing we can do" I whisper, letting the tears fall down my face. 

Julie's POV

I don't even know what to think. 

This is all too much. Breaking down isn't going to fix everything though. This is real. This is going to happen. And I can't do anything about it. I wipe the tears from eyes and take a deep breath. 

"How much time do you have?" I ask. 

"About 5 minutes at most" Alex says sadly. I walk over to him and Reggie. I somewhat prepare a long goodbye for them. I open my mouth to speak but Alex stops me by pulling me into a hug and he whispers into my ear "don't waste your time on us, go talk to Luke" I blink away my tears a nod my head. I wave Reggie over to join the hug. 

"I love you both so much" I say.

"We love you too" reggie says through sobs. I pull away and Alex pushes me towards Luke.

"Go get him tiger" he says, trying to lighten the mood. I roll my eyes and let out a small chuckle. 

Luke and I stand there facing each other, both crying, not knowing what to say. 

"I got your letter" I say. 

"Really? I got yours too" He says. I take a step closer to him, our faces inches apart. 

"Is it true?" I ask

"Every word" He immediately replies. 

I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him as I start to cry even harder.

"I love you Luke" I mumble into his neck.

"I love you too Julie" he mumbles back. 

There we stand, wrapped around eachother, sobbing. I just want time to stop so we can stay wrapped around eachother like this.
