After escaping in a way and were finally at the dorms Steele saw Lisa's friends.
"Oh yeah Lisa, we need to talk to your friend's" whispered Steele
"Why do they know anything" asked Lisa
"Well sorta they thought it was me and I just said it is a long story and they convinced me to tell you that we need to tell them the story" said Steele.
"I still love you but that isn't right" said Lisa
"What isn't right Lisa" asked one of her friends.
"Just This entire thing going on. It's hard to explain. Just a lot has happened to Steele and I recently and we just need time to think about it" said Lisa.
"Your Breaking up" asked one of her friends
"No....!! NO!! It's not that. Just we have been through a lot and we can't explain or we are toast" said Lisa.
"We are probably already in trouble just by talking about it. Just watch your backs alright. We don't need anything happening to you" said Steele.
"We already know something is afoot just can't be told what. We get it" said Lisa's friends.
"Right I told you of explain later. Sorry just forgot for a second" said Steele
They left and went to bed for the night. Everyone except Steele who was up a little later then he should be.
"Hey sleep with me. We have a big day of rehearsals tomorrow" said Lisa half awake.
"I just can't. I have a bad feeling that one of your friends is in danger" said Steele.
"Well if one is we will take care of it in the morning just sleep. We had a long day. I did as well being kidnapped and all that" said Lisa still half awake and trying to shut her eyes.
"Alright but if something happens. I'm blaming you" said Steele
"Fine by me" said Lisa as she fell back asleep.
Steele headed to bed with Lisa.
During the night a shadow was lurking around the building. The shadow made it was to one of Lisa's friends dorms. Got inside and stole some items very quietly. And trashed the place in total silence. Nothing woke them up. The shadow went back outside and wasn't seen the rest of the night.
Monday Morning.
"Ahh I haven't slept that well in forever" said Steele.
"Well you needed it. You have been a nervous wreck for a few days. With everything going on you needed a good rest" said Lisa.
"Just happy it's our first dress rehearsal next week. The show is almost done. I'm sad but glad it is almost over" said Steele.
"Yes it is. But just sad that it means the semester is either half done or will be done soon. Hard to tell. Time flys certain weeks and doesn't others" said Lisa.
"Agreed" said Steele.
"Anyway I'm going to hit the shower. I'll be out soon" said Lisa.
"Yeah wouldn't want your stench anyways" said Steele jokingly
"Ah you. Always with the jokes" said Lisa.
The water turns on and Steele hears Lisa singing in the shower.
"Alright you can do this. It's not that hard. I can do this. We have been through a lot together recently. And I have you know always loved you.... Oh I'm nervous. I'll just wing it and go from there like I always do" said Steele.
The water shuts off. Lisa is out a few minutes later looking stunning.
"Hey Lisa" said Steele
"Yeah Steele what is it" asked Lisa.
"Well..." started Steele freezing in place
"Come on it's just me. Don't be nervous. You haven't been this nervous since our date. What's up" asked Lisa.
"Well that's where I was going. We have been spending a lot of time together recently" said Steele
"Steele what are you doing" asked Lisa.
"Well I don't know. Well I always have known. But ughh. ......." said Steele
Steele gets on one knee.
Lisa looks really shocked but happy. And emotional in the good way
"Lisa will you marry me" asked Steele
"Yes of course I will. I know it's been a few months but our hearts have always kind of dated. So you know it makes sense" said Lisa.
"True. Just happy I finally did it. Come on let's go to rehearsal. But first let's check in your friends to see if anything happened during the night" said Steele.
"No need to do that honey. Look out the window" said Lisa.
Outside the window was one of her friends. And all of their stuff outside. And a message spelled out with the stuff.
