Ch. 2) The Date

Walking into town Lisa and Steele were holding hands. Steele didn't know how to feel. This was his dream. Ever since freshman year (second semester).

"So where are we going" asked Steele "there's not much in town"

"Well I haven't thought if it that much. Just going with what I know. I know I said u know the perfect place but there's not much we can get to now" said Lisa.

"True" said Steele

They continued into town and decided just to stop at the nicest place a college student could go. Not a lot of money needed but it was fine for the time being.

"So this is great and I don't know how to date sorry about that" said Steele

"Wait you mean to say the Great Steele with a fabulous singing voice has yet to have a date" said Lisa

"Yeah I know sad isn't it" said Steele

"Yes and No. maybe you weren't ready yet but I only had one before you so don't feel that bad" said Lisa

"Wow your Just the prettiest girl I know and I was surprised you were single. But I'm just so happy o can't speak" said Steele

"Trust me it just happened and I can't process it completely yet either" said Lisa

"Well let's just be happy that it happened I was worried that it never would" said Steele

"What do you mean Steele" asked Lisa

"Well to be honest I have always liked you since the first semester we had together and I never had the courage to ask you out" said Steele

"Wait are you serious" asked Lisa

Steele nodded

"Wow this is the first time you have actually opened up and I'm shocked" said Lisa

"Well that's not the only reason how I fell in love with you. Remember our first onstage kiss. Well I know it's acting but I actually felt something is that wrong" asked Steele

"Somewhat but for be real with you I felt something as well. Every time I would want to ask you it was just the friend thing and I guess we both felt the same way" said Lisa

"Yeah maybe that's why we were kinda put together a few hours ago" said Steele

"But maybe the cast list isn't the reason but we were put together in a way. Or maybe I asked it's all a blur" said Lisa

"Yeah I feel the same way can't remember exactly how it happened but we are the perfect match. It's fate just trust me on that. Let's try this for a while and see how it goes" said Steele

"Yeah anyway let me or both of us pay. Wait we already paid. This was cheap man my memory sucks" said Lisa

"Hey it's fine. I forget sometimes to. But let's head back we got a long road ahead of us to get this show done" said Steele

They walked back to campus and Steele took Lisa back to her room. And he went to his room. He realized his friend that he knew for a few years he is now dating. He didn't think that would happen. He went to bed thinking of Lisa and he knew he would see her the next day.
