It was a few days after the crew member disappeared when Steele and Lisa realized what happened.
"Where is the fly person" asked Steele
"He should be here" said the Director
The Director looked all over the building for them and all the Director found was the mic pack.
"Well we need a new fly person. I would ask you Lisa buy your my second lead role. I may have to do it myself unless someone knows anyone who wants to work on the show" said the Director
"I say let's run today without them just avoid the back area where they would be at and we will be fine. I know we need one but we can get one at lunch. Just makes sense" said Lisa
"You are right but you know we do need one but at lunch we can ask and go from there. Just because we lost half a day after lunch we need to press on" said the Director
The rehearsal went on. It went pretty smoothly and at lunch they did find someone to work on the fly rails. Luckily that that previous experience on the flu rail. They gave them the rest of the day because it was the first time working the show. If they messed up they understood but they had to learn with the show being so close.
Tech week became long days of not leaving the theatre that much and just became a repetitive process. They got the show down pretty fast. And it was preview night for the department and friends of they wanted to. Everything went well. They all loved it. To promote the show they all went out in costume to promote the show to the college.
Some people laughed. But most were interested to see the show. To the people that laughed Steele removed the phantom mask and the people who laughed were horrified. Now they were interested.
"That shut them up didn't it" said Steele
"It sure did honey" said Lisa
They went back to the dressing room to change.
"Alright everyone. Tomorrow is the big night. I'll see you all here in the afternoon/early evening. Check your call times and we are set" said the Director.
They all changed and went back to their dorms.
"Hey Steele can we talk" said Lisa
"Sure honey whats up" asked Steele
"Well remember how we had fun the last few night" said Lisa
"Yeah. why did I hurt you or something" asked Steele
"No not that at all. It's just that I'm pregnant" said Lisa
