Dr. Steele's Origins

Ch. 3) The Next Day

The next day there was a script reading for the show that they were set to perform. It was a long road ahead of them to make sure the show was perfect.

Steele was great also got with Lisa and the rest of the cast. Things were going smoothly until...

"Alright everyone let's do a practice run" said the director.

That wasn't the reason. The reason is coming.

The rehearsal made it through the first act of the show. As the stage cleared for a lunch break before they did act 2....

*achooo*
*sniff

"Alright who's sick. Who ever is needs to go home now" said the director.

"It's me but I swear it's just my allergies" said the cast member

"I'm not taking any chances. We will be fine without you till you get better. So dont worry about anything. You'll find your way back in. Plus we will start act1 with the first song blocking after we finish act 2 so you will be fine. Take the rest of the day off and come back tomorrow ready to go" said the director.

That student went home for the rest of the day.

"Wow I know them it was allergies. But I'm not one to complain of someone is sick then we all get sick" said Steele

They ate lunch and finished act 2. And started blocking act 1. It was a long day

"Alright we start tomorrow at 9am. 9:30 is the latest you can get here if you sleep in. I'm allowing half hour to be safe" said the director.

The cast came out of the theatre hall and went separate ways since it was night time (around 7pm)

"So dinner" asked Lisa

"No just Not tonight I. Sorry I mean we had a long day. I'm just used to it being just me. Your always energetic in every class so ow just used to that. But we went through the entire script and ran it twice. It's a lot of work. So let's just go home and relax for the night" said Steele

"Oh I get it. Sorry I'm tired we all are. Let's just get dinner across the street (Natalie). Is that ok with you" asked Lisa

"Yeah it's alright" said Steele

They walked across to Natalie to get some dinner. It was just fast food anyway. Like you order and a few minutes later you get food. But with the entire cast getting food (well most of them). It was a bit of a longer wait then usual.

"Hey I say we skip dinner tonight and just hang at my place" said Lisa

"But don't you have a roommate" asked Steele

"No I don't. And if I said I did I was just in the moment and just agreed. But let's go" said Lisa.

They went to Lisa's room for a special night.

The next morning Steele woke up before Lisa and remembers a bit from last night.

"Hey how did you sleep" asked Steele

Lisa just waking up... "Pretty good."

Then Steele looked at the floor and saw what the night brought. (Not explaining it but you know 😉)

Anyway he got ready for the day and. ate a quick breakfast with Lisa and they both headed to the theater for another day of rehearsal.
