Chapter 12: A Gold Experience

Shido and the others had defeated the surrounding Kurumi clones which blocked their way. Origami and Mana were wondering how Shido was able to fight back.

Mana: Big brother, I thought that you couldn't fight them back! What happened to you?

Shido: I may or may not had some help in training on how to fight Spirits.

Origami: (goes skeptical) I doubt that, it's either you made some alterations in your own body or.... (points her weapon at Shido) you're a Spirit such as Y/n.

Shido: H-hey! Let's not get to any conclusions here! Y/n isn't a Spirit! ' It sucks that I have to keep his secret, it draws unwanted attention to me! '

Mana: It's hard to believe he isn't a Spirit though. Wasn't he the one who flew-

Shido: No! That is not him! Maybe you have mistaken him for someone else!

Origami: (mutters to Shido) Lies, but I'll cover you up for your sake. (voice goes back to normal) Yeah, maybe you've mistaken him for someone else.

Mana: Oh, wait. Where is he?

Shido: Probably went home, Tohka got sick and Y/n carried her home.

As he said that, a loud crash could be heard and gunshots came in next. The sound of Kurumi's weapons could be heard 500 meters away from them.

Abandoned Plains

Y/n: Interesting, Aleph may have a drawback on your energy but it does match up to my current speed. It's thrilling me so much I can't contain it!

He then charged at her again and then used his Stand to kick her in the chin and was synchronized by Y/n who disarmed one of her flintlock pistols which he fired at her leg. Kurumi retaliated by using her Stand to trip High Voltage and make the user fall over. This was enough to get her flintlock pistol and summon Zafkiel. To make sure that he wouldn't be able to intercept, clones surrounded Y/n again and tried to restrain him.

Kurumi: Zafkiel Da-

Y/n had grabbed her flintlock pistol which was used for every special bullets and then pointed it at him. Although it hurt like hell by grabbing her weapon. He used Dalet on himself by shooting the pistol on his Stand, regaining its former strength.

Y/n: Stand can be damaged by other Stands only but seeing as Zaphkiel had affected me with Zayin, I might as well use it to restore its strength! Now then, (throws the pistol at her) thanks for the heal bitch! My hands might've hurt from touching Tohka's demon and your weapon, but I've regained some of my strength! So thank you for the heal!

Kurumi caught her pistol and then attempted to use Dalet again. This time he gave her a chance to restore herself back to normal by reverting herself back to normal.

Y/n: ' Fuck, she'll keep spamming Zafkiel as long as the castle is still on. I have to end this quick. ' How about this? The first to fall within ten seconds loses and if I win, you'll forget what happened two years ago and forget about the discs.

Kurumi: And how about if I win? (licks her lips) I'll make you my slave for all eternity. If you didn't win however, I'll spill out your dirtiest secret to Tohka.

Y/n: (eyes widens at the sound of it and then goes in a more calm stance) I don't like the sound of it.

Kurumi: By now, we should be at equals. However, your power keeps decreasing as mine is still intact.

Y/n: The time-eating castle is keeping your energy intact. I'll show you that there is more than just absorbing their strength.

He then glowed yellow and then accelerated in high speeds in a circular motions and was throwing a lot of knives in different paths. Every time he went in closer, he had attempted to hit her with a series of hits either from his Stand or from himself. Kurumi was struggling to keep up, until she realized that she has her Stand. Using it as it took form of purple vines, Kurumi awaited for him to go into a circular motion again and once he did, she ensnared him and the Stand coiled around Y/n's legs which made him trip and almost fell on the ground if it weren't for High Voltage supporting him. Firing multiple bullets, High Voltage deflected it and then grabbed one of them and threw it at Kurumi twice it's original speed. It then broke the purple vine Stand.
