Chapter 25: The Weakest Spirit

Days had passed after the Arubi Island vacation and clanging of blades were heard in a barren wasteland. Y/n, who has improved so much since weeks had passed, was able to create more weapons in his arsenal. His opponent was Kotori who swung her axe sideward at him and was blocked with a shield created from Spirit Mana. He made it disappear and then created the longbow again, firing an arrow which split into many that targeted the red headed Spirit. Camael turn into a hand-cannon, firing Megiddo at him which he dodged by rolling over.

" You're getting pretty good at combat Kotori, you're able to control your Spirit powers while fighting me, " Y/n said as he was sweaty from all the blocks and dodges he made. " I could say the same to you too, but we both know that we're holding back, " Kotori grinned as she said that, turning Camael back to its axe form. " Well, I guess we should end this party quickly. Our powers are almost getting detected. " his longbow disappeared, and in his arms glowed and became a scaly armor and gauntlet that can match an Angel's strength . Yellow light glowed and disappeared every now and then in the indents of the armor.

As if it was an old western showdown, waiting for the word draw, heat and electricity surrounded the whole barren wasteland as the two watched each other's movements. Both of them moved instantly, clashing their attacks and moving fluidly as to avoid getting hit. At one moment, Kotori had him when he got clumsy from her berserker-like swings and even though he blocked the overhead swing with the scaly armor of his, the gauntlets and armor start to make a cracking sound. She grinned in her premature celebration but Y/n also made a mocking grin as he kept a hold on to Camael and then kneed her in the gut which staggered her. Y/n twirled around, fusing with his Stand on his legs and then kicked Kotori upward, making her stagger and fall down.

" And another score for Y/n, I'm up one! " he said, gloating at his victory. " Ugh, really? " Kotori sighed in disappointment as she got up. " Well, I did want to not go to school today since classes are boring as hell so why not have fun battling? " he said as he made the gauntlets and armor disappear, revealing that he was bleeding. " You got me good there Commander Itsuka. " he sighs before continuing again. " I wish I could fire a shotgun with one hand but the gun will just fly away. That being said, I won't be able to rev Cavaliere for a while until Josuke or Tohka returns. " after that, he sighed and then waited for Fraxinus to retrieve them. " I'm guessing Tohka cannot lay a finger on you. She even tried to stop me from putting me in charge of training. " Kotori said, laughing at that event.

True enough, she was right. Ever since Tohka found out Johannes's ' dark sin ' of hurting him and the wound on Y/n's hand, the said Spirit has been frantic and wouldn't stay calm if it weren't for Reine's help and counsel.

" She's emotionally unstable, especially if you try take me away from her. I got the frequent monitoring from Reine, she says she is fine. " he said and then guilt somehow got into him, " Maybe I shouldn't have ditch class. She may be worried sick about me right now. " he added and then curled up to a ball. " You know, this is the most friendliest conversation we had done until you found out that I command the whole Fraxinus. " Kotori smiled sincerely as Y/n chuckled as he slightly grimaced in pain. " Well, we got plenty of time to chat, but please heal my wounds first. I don't want Tohka to see a bandaged boyfriend again. " he said as he added a slight pleading tone in his tone.

Blue flames healed his injuries and just in time, Bandersnatch units were flying towards them. " And our guests had arrived. " Y/n said as he summoned his Stand and created two M1911 handguns with the color was designed after Yin and Yang respectively. " Seems like you want to mess with them first huh? Count me in. " Kotori said and then went into her battle stance.
