Chapter 24: Storm's End

As the Inverse Spirit pointed her sword at the injured Johannes, she was watching his every move and was ready to hurt Johannes in the worst way possible if they ever fought. Black goo finally went through his arm and then regrew the whole part of the severed arm, but it was different. Darkness shrouded over the arm and it wasn't normal. Instead of fingers, sharp claws protruded on it, ready to rip and tear someone to shreds. The black arm spread apart and became tendrils, trying to smack Paverschlev away from Inverse which she didn't hesitate to cut off and then stabbed Johannes in the chest.

Johannes: You know, if I had a dime for every time I was stabbed in the chest by both AST and DEM, I wouldn't need their help from the start.

Inverse Tohka was surprised that Johannes wasn't even fazed at the slightest when he was stabbed in the chest and was sent flying five meters away from him with a kick to her gut. Right after that, he himself took out the sword out from his chest in a lazy manner as if he was stabbed many times over by many swords and suddenly he regenerated.

Johannes: First things first, how do you know my secret of being Bastille's user.

I. Tohka: A little bird had told me. That and with the help of the vial.

She grins evilly as she showed the vial containing Bastille. She lit a lighter against it and then it reacted abnormally.

Johannes: So all for a measly wound, you hunt for revenge. (black veins shows in his neck and face area as the right arm and legs became black and embedded with claws) Pathetic, I could pity you.

I. Tohka: (growls and then gets angry) I don't need your pity! All I need is you screaming in pain and agony!

Johannes: Well then, (his voice distorts) you're free to try.

Wings that could be mistake him for a devil sprouted behind his back and then flew up in the sky. Inverse didn't waste no time and gave a chase when he flew up and grabbed her Demon King, she was overridden with the thought of torturing him and scarring him for life.

As the two clashed with strikes, Ellen on the other hand was trying to asphyxiate Y/n but was kicked in her jaw once she tried to do so.

Y/n: That form, a full body Stand Fusion?! How!? A human isn't supposed to handle one!

Ellen: True an average human, no matter how strong they are physically, cannot do these. However, wizards like us can do this as we are augmented to battle Spirits. You could say that we are beyond your perception of humanity.

Y/n: (cracks his knuckles and yellow lightning surrounds him) Well then, I guess I can test my powers out on someone strong.

Both of them observed each other's movements and suddenly, using a silver rapier, Ellen tried to puncture Y/n with it who dodged it barely and then his eyes turned red for a short instance and went in for an uppercut in the jaw while shouting ' Doryah! ' which almost made a clean hit. Both of them took a step back and then charged at each other, with their strikes being ridiculously fast. However, Y/n's attack speed was a bit slow than Ellen which made her land some wounds in his left and right side of his face and got punctured in his right leg. He hissed in pain but restrained the hand that held the rapier that punctured his leg. This was continued by kneeing her in the gut and an elbow strike in the side of her head. She was weakened in the process and let go of the rapier.

Y/n: I'm impressed, (pulls out the weapon from his leg) you're the first person that I should be cautious of. Right now, you're only facing me in 50 percent of my power. I guess I'll have to take it into the next level if I'm going to make it out here alive.

Ellen: (smirks) You're going to need much more effort to knock me out although this time, you won't be able to land attack on me.

Twenty Bandersnatch units surrounded Y/n but he didn't even faze at their numbers. He glowed yellow and a yellow blur went past the robots as their heads are lopped off and was holding one of its heads and his eyes glowed red again.
