Chapter 3: Discs

Two days after Tohka and Y/n met, they were getting along well. Tohka transferred to the same school as Y/n, and her trust with other humans has began to grow. However, it had a price, as Y/n was using a crutch in order to move. Kotori was laughing at his pain and agony at first but still was concerned for him as so was Shido. However, Kotori had found a new name for him which was only used to make fun of him.

Flashback to Yesterday...

Tohka: You promised to take me on a date! Come on, hurry up!

Y/n: ' Why did I have a poor talent of wording that shit! ' Give me a moment, I haven't taken a bath yet nor have I drank coffee yet!

Tohka: (in a pouty tone) F-fine, just make it quick.

She left and waited for him to finish, unknowingly grabbing Kinako bread again from his secret stash. He could be heard singing Pizza Mozzarella again and again while he was taking a bath. Unknowingly, Tohka began to sing along too.

Y/n and Tohka were having a bit of fun while going along the city, but Tohka was still uncomfortable with the crowd. Y/n was trying to help her deal and cope with it. However, someone kept annoying him throughout the whole morning which let out grumbling from Y/n.

Kotori: Urgh, he keeps hanging up! What in the world is he thinking?

Shido: Actually, did you think he would really take orders from anyone? Especially you? He even thinks that you're a bit of a child.

Kannazuki: I can't believe our leader is disrespected like this! He has to be punished!

Reine: There's no need. Even if we did, he could get away easily from our grasp. We don't even know what power he really has.

Kotori: Yeah, that's what I am wondering. How can he handle the sheer force of AST without using any machines they're using?

Shido: ' If they only knew about High Voltage. However, I would seem stupid if I did tell them about it. '

Y/n: You know I could cook my own meals, so why go in here? In fact, it's less expensive if I cook.

Tohka: (in a slight pouting tone) Oh come on Y/n! It's only just for this month now!

Y/n: ' Why do I feel like we're going back here next month? ' Fine, at least their coffee is great here. (sips coffee) So, how's your experience in the city? I hope it's nice.

Tohka: Uh huh! Turns out there were some nice people in here. Humans are not so bad after all!

Y/n: ' Do I seem like a Spirit? I mean, stands aren't some Angels that Spirits use. I wish there were other stand users other than me, my father and that other person. ' I guess so. Anyway, I was wondering, why are you referring to me as a Spirit? I mean, look at me, I don't use Astral things like you do and I don't summon an extravagant sword such as yours.

Tohka: I know, I know, you force yourself that you are not a Spirit, but in my eyes, you're a lot like us. Just more humane though.

Y/n: Fine, if that's what you want. Anyway, this date also means nothing but just a friendly hangout. Most of the times, dates are... (blushes) something done for couples. That's only my point of view okay!

Tohka: (giggles and gives him headpats) That's cute, I like it when you blush!

Y/n: ' Why does every little action of mine gives impression? ' A-anyway! I also needed to go out in order to buy some groceries, my secret stash is running low. Let's just finish eating and get on to the mall. I might as well buy you extra kinako bread while at it!
