》Chapter 13 - Love problems, huh?《

"W-Wait, hold on, how did you know?!"

(Y/n) gasped at Keito's response before yelling. "So you guys did broke up?! My ship, nooooooooo!" Imaginary tears streamed down her cheeks as she dramatically wiped them away. "I already prepared myself for this day to come, but I didn't expect it would be now!"

Keito watched her sulking in disbelief before shaking his head. "No, no! We didn't broke up—"

"You guys are still together?!"

"Listen!" Keito exclaimed, interrupting the (H/c)-haired female causing her to blink from his sudden outburst.

"We didn't broke up, I-I think..." He bit the insides of his bottom lip unsurely making (Y/n) raise a brow in confusion. "What do you mean?" She asked slowly. "W-Well, he's been ignoring me lately— Hold on, how did you know?!" Keito exclaimed only to receive a shrug from (Y/n). "I just knew." She simply replied with a cheeky grin.

"F-For how long?"

"Since the day you guys confessed
on 2nd year." She smirked when she saw Keito's shocked and surprised look.

She knew it for that long?!

Keito and Ayato started dating during the second month of 3rd year, the two confessed their feelings during the last month of their 2nd year. Since they were too young to date, they promised each other to make things official between them once they reached a certain age they're comfortable with. Keito honestly didn't expect anyone knew, but it's (Y/n) we're talking about, of course, she'd knew. Although, how? The two confessed their feelings in the deepest part of the woods, alone.

It was in the afternoon, approximately 3:12 pm. After an argument broke out between the two of them, Kousuke had an idea of going into the woods by pair, to quote on quote, "Familiarize the area." Unbeknownst to Ayato and Keito, the whole class basically planned it all out, just to get the two to be friends again. Kousuke also gave them a bagel bracelet as a transmitter just in case if they were lost, Kousuke will be able to track them down.

After what felt like hours of awkward yet tense silence, the two males found themselves in the deepest parts of the woods; lost. Surprisingly, there was a strong signal, so after sending their teacher a quick message about them being lost, they sat down on the ground and waited. Of course, in every cliché stuff, they decided to... talk, to at least decrease the awkward atmosphere around them and maybe set things straight about them.

Even though nothing's even straight about them—

They talked and talked until eventually, they blurted out how much they like each other. Now the question is, how did (Y/n) know?

"I followed you guys, what else?" (Y/n) replied nonchalantly earning a surprised look from Keito. "T-Then, how did you manage to stay quiet?" He asked making the (H/c)-headed female curve her lips into her signature cheeky smile. "We're both spies, Key, I'm pretty sure we both know the answer to that." She replied flatly. "You timed your footsteps," Keito breathed out in realization earning a nod. "Yep!" That was all she said before hugging her knees as she rested her chin on top of them. "There was a small part of me that was against the idea of going into the woods by pairs even though we were given transmitters for Kousuke-sensei to track us down with, in case we were lost," She confessed making Keito's tensed muscles softened as he quietly listened. "and knowing how you and Ayato's situation at that time, there might be a chance where you guys might attract danger with your bickering, so I followed you guys to make sure to prevent that from happening."

She was worried?

"But, surprise-surprise," (Y/n) chuckled, "Everything between you two was so silent and awkward!" She laughed, "I even recorded it in my camcorder, no matter how many times I re-watched it, it still gives me second-hand embarrassment." She stated with a chuckle. Blinking his green eyes, he sighed. "Of course you did." Keito deadpanned before a small laugh escaped his lips causing the petite girl to turn to him with a grin. "Hey! That made you laugh!"
