Ups & Downs : Falling For You

Chapter seven : Hey Project Partner.

∆ Next day ∆

You know which is the best place in a school ? A place where you can get peace of mind, where you can only talk to yourself , where my soul relaxes. Yes you guessed it right it's The Library.

I don't know why most of the people hate libraries. I'm in love with that room, I get recharged in libraries. I know I sound like a typical nerd but whatever.

All of my new friends have different classes rightnow, so I'm here heading towards the library, again not paying attention to the path and guess what I bumped on someone, again.

Wow Bells how do you manage to be so stupid?

Rubbing my head I got up. But this time it was a girl, she was carrying some books that fell on the ground.

"I'm so sorry!" I apologized

"It wasn't your fault" she smiled while picking her books.

"Actually it was me who wasn't paying attention" I  apologized.

I helped her in collecting her stuff. We got up when she got all her belongings back.

"Thanks" she said giving me a warm smile. "I'm Maya" she added

"Isabella" I smiled back at her.

"I haven't seen you before. You're a new student right?"  She asked

"Yeah" I replied

"Were you going to the library?" She asked

I nodded

"I'm going there too. Actually I have to return these books. Wanna join me?"

"Sure" I smiled

We walked to the library together and chose the corner seat next to the window, we talked about lots of random stuff like favorite books, music, celebrities, our families etc. I've never met someone having so much in common, we have similar interests, hobbies except she's much prettier than me, her blonde hair, her oceanic eyes, everything about her was so angelic. I'm damn sure she must be very popular among guys.

After an hour we went to our Anatomy class together. I sat with Maya, neither Zoe nor Ash were in my Anatomy class. When I looked around the class I saw someone familiar in the last bench, yes it was the same guy, that Alex, he was sitting with a boy I assume he must be his best friend. His brown hair were messed up, those green eyes shining like stars, he was wearing a white hoodie with with black pants. Again so effortlessly handsome.

"Ok enough of staring. Now pay attention to the class" said the inner voice inside me.

After the class was ended teacher told us about our projects.

"So students you are getting your first project of anatomy, and you all are gonna work in pairs" Mrs. Dalia announced. "I've made a list of students of who's gonna work with whom" she added.

Mrs. Dalia announced the names of students one by one "Laila and Joey, Alexander and Jayson, Niall and Jordan, Isabella and Maya......."

I thought it'd be like those chic-flicks where you get paired up with your crush and while making your projects you both develope romantic feelings for eachother, but this is life not a romantic book. Right?

I glanced at Maya she flashed her million dollar smile. I'm really happy that I got paired with her.

We spent few minutes discussing what to present and how to make it, after that we came up with the idea of working at her place because if we go to mine my devil brother is definitely gonna ruin our projects.
