Chapter four : You're here too!!!

She walked towards me and then wrapped me into a tight bone crushing hug. I hugged her too. Our eyes were filled with the tears of joy.

The first day of school can't get better than this.

Just imagine you're finding a friend and you just got your lost best friend.

Yes! I got my long lost best friend Ashley back. We were neighbours since we were born, we were like sisters not by blood but by hearts but three years ago her parents got divorced and she moved to Mexico with her mom.

After that I never had someone like her in my life, I got new friends but no one could replace her, she was in my heart.

We pulled back and saw each other's faces,

"I thought I'll never see you again" she said with her teary eyes.

We chuckled

"You went to Mexico right ? " I asked

"Yeah I was there for an year and then mom got transferred to CA so we're here now" she wiped her tears "And I've been studying here from 2 years " she added

"That's great" I wiped my tears

"What are you doing here ? " she asked

I was about to open my mouth but the school bell rang interrupting our conversation.

We glanced at each others

"You don't wanna get late on your first day of school right ?" She smiled

I nodded

After collecting my schedule from school office I got to know that I'm gonna attend the same class as Ashley

After first period Ash gave me a tour of the campus.

Right now we're sitting in cafeteria. A typical high school cafeteria scene. Full of students, chatting, laughing with their friends.

Chaos and Chaos everywhere

Ash introduced me to Cara and Milo they're her close friends. Now they're my friends too.

Both of them were very friendly creatures it didn't feel like I'm meeting them for the first time.

We were chatting about some random stuff. I cracked a joke and our table erupted with laughter.

"Oh my god ! Hahaha" Cara said still laughing and gasping for breath "why didn't you come here earlier babe" she added.

"Seriously dude ! you're awesome" Milo said

I smiled

Do you think I want something else right now ?

Yes!!!

Another meeting with that green eyed guy. Doesn't matters how many times I try to forget him. I just remembered his glistening green eyes, boring into my big brown ones. I don't even know his name, yet I'm lost in his thoughts.

I was deaf to all the noise and howls of the cafeteria, I couldn't even hear what my friends were saying.

Closing my eyes I could feel my cheeks burning. Even at his thought I felt my heartbeat raising, I was smiling like an idiot.

"Our next classes are separate" Ashley said taking me out of my daydream. I opened my eyes and averted my gaze towards her.

"We'll see you later" Milo and Cara said in unison and left the table.

"So I'll be alone again" I said in a sad tone

"Come on girl, stop acting like a child, it's just for one period. okay? " She patted my shoulder

I nodded

But before that I need to exchange some of my books from my locker.

We were standing infront of Ash's locker, 

While she was taking out books from her locker I was glancing at our surrounding, I saw a group of 4 girls standing on the either side of the corridor.

I could see the faces of three girls but the 4th girl was standing with her back towards me. I didn't know her but still her curly brown hair and extremely short outfit was reminding me of someone.

I was staring at her trying to figure out who she is, and that's when she turned her face towards me

I was shocked

The girl I hated the most, the girl who was my biggest rival, the girl who never left a single chance to insult me was standing right infront of me.

Zoe cook
The badass girl from my old school.

She glanced at me her eyes went wide she was equally shocked as I was

Soon her flat lips turned into a grin

"Well well well.....If it isn't Miss. Stenberg-"

"You're here too!!!" I blurted out

Let's face it I actually yelled.

With that Ash turned towards us

"Ohh sorry I forgot to tell you this" she said pointing at Zoe "she joined this school last year" she added

I gave her a disgusted look

Ash came near to me "She's not like before Bella, she changed herself, now she's a friend of mine why don't you just forget and forgive" she whispered in my ear.

"Your bestfriend is right" Zoe said with a smile and this time a genuine smile

Maybe we can become friends. Right?

I tried to give her a genuine smile too and I succeeded.

With that Ashley left us cause she was getting late for her class.

I had a good conversation with Zoe on our way to biology class, Yes she was in my biology class. I was glad to see the change in her, she wasn't mean like before.

I was glad that I'm not alone, even if my bestfriend is missing I have a good friend by my side.

But one thing didn't changed
She was still a slut.

But that doesn't matters, she can be a good friend.

With that thought in my mind,
We reached our biology class. Zoe pushed the door.

We stepped in and that's when I Froze.
