Ups & Downs : Falling For You

Chapter one : Bye - Bye Hometown

A huge crowd of people was standing all around me pointing at me, laughing at me, insulting me.

I was helpless.

I started crying but they didn't stop.

They just kept laughing at me.

I couldn't see their faces, actually they th-they d-didn't even had faces.

I woke up immediately and realised that it was all a dream.

I took a deep breath to calm myself.

This is the third time I'm having such senseless dream.

Goddamn!!!! My weird brain.

Then my eyes glanced at the clock and it's 10:00 am , Yes I'm late I'm not a morning person,
In fact I'm the laziest member of the family.

Suddenly I realised this is my last day in NYC with my parents. Actually I and Ben are moving to California for our further studies, So I got up and ran towards the bathroom.

I heard my mom's voice calling my name out in order to wake me up.

" Belle!!!!! You're late again come fast for the breakfast sweetie" my mom said.

"Coming" I shouted from my room.

I got ready and headed downstairs towards the dinning hall.

As I arrived on the dinning hall I got to see the usual scene their my dad busy on his laptop, Ben eating like a 10 y/o kid and my mom just watching and smiling at their antics.

I snatched the piece of half eaten cheese sandwich from his hands.

"Hey ! That was mine, don't you have table manners ? " He exclaimed.

"Relax lil bunny " I replied winking at him.

"Don't you dare call me that !!! "he said banging his hand on the table.

"Lil bunny" I said curling my lips into a smile.

His eyes were fuming, he repeated "I said don't call-"

"Lil bunny" I said cutting him off , a teasing smile formed on my lips.

"Goddamn I'm gonna kill you if you repeated this " he said.

"Lil bunny's getting angry huh!?" I said in a childish voice.

I really love annoying my lil brother, well he's just an hour younger than me but that doesn't matters, annoying each other is like our favourite means of entertainment.
And I really enjoy watching his irritated face.

He stood up from his chair and shouted "You are-"

"Shut up kids and stop it both of you are 17 now" mom said cutting Ben off.

"But she started it first, she snatched my sandwich" Ben whinned.

"You've eaten like half of it" I justified.

"Marissa serve Belle her own food so she doesn't snatches Ben's" Mom ordered to Marissa, she's our housemaid as well as our nanny, she used to take care of me and Ben when we were young.

She still does that.

"And if I heard you both quarraling again both of you would be grounded for next 2 weeks" mom said.

Ben and I looked at each other's blank face then shifted our gaze towards mom, Dad too shifted his gaze and focused at mom with a clueless face.

A awkward silence filled in the dinning hall

Ben said breaking the silence "Mom we're leaving for California today. Remember?"

Mom's eyes went wide open when she realised

Her anger faded leaving a sad smile

"C'mon mom we're not going forever right ? We'll come back on Christmas, New year and vacations" I said.

Then mom wrapped us both in a tight hug she kissed our foreheads

"I'm gonna miss you kids" she said in a low voice.

"Hey ! what about me? " Dad complained  "you guys are throwing me out of the group" he added.

All of us extended our arms and dad
joined us in the family hug.

We were sitting in the car heading towards the airport.

Some random driver of ours was driving the car while I and Ben were seated in the backseat. Mom had asked us to take Marissa with us so she'd take care of us but I and Ben refused it coz we didn't wanted to get busted on our late night parties and outings.

Ben's eyes were glued to his phone, he was really very excited about living in CA.

I was a little nervous, well I'm not so good at social skills or making new friends.

I had weird feelings , I couldn't even understand , I was sad coz I was leaving my parents and my hometown but I was happy for attending the new school , new town and meeting new friends. But I was nervous thinking that how will I fit into a new environment so soon.

Various thoughts flooded my mind.

Whatever's gonna happen but I could tell that my life will be changing totally

My life would be full of Ups and Downs.
