Holy shit.
Is that a ring?
"Three diamonds." He smiles and looks into my eyes.
"I-"
He cut me off.
"You forgot I was rich, didn't you?"
Why does he know me so well?
"Can I ask you something, Jimin?" I look up at him.
He nods.
"Why are there 3 diamonds?" I lean in to look at the ring again.
He leans closer and stops right near my ear.
"Dumbass." He whispers.
"Bitch, you did not just call me a-"
He takes his finger and puts it to my lips.
"Shh."
"Get your dusty, rusty, musty and crusty hands off of me." I growled with a clenched jaw.
He lets go of me and puts his hands up as if he were saying he surrenders.
"My parents won't be here because they are out of the country but if anyone finds me like this I will murder you and you will never live to see the next sunrise. DO you understand me?"
Jimin nods his head quickly and I smile.
"Good. Now, carry on with what you were saying, Jimin."
He gulps slowly, and I watch his Adam's apple rise and fall smoothly.
"This is my promise ring. I promise that I'll never stop loving you."
"Jimin, I-"
"Even if you don't love me I'll still love you no matter what."
"There's no point of having a conversation if you're not gonna let me talk." I crossed my arms and looked at his widened eyes.
"Okay, okay, don't roast me, go ahead."
"I love you. A LOT. I've liked you since the first year of high school and I wish we could go to the same college and spend our time with each other, but-"
I'm cut off by an embrace.
He inhales slowly and exhales sharply.
"You smell nice."
All I can do is lie limp.
Probably not a good thing.
But,
at least I'm lying limp,
right here,
in his arms.
