"Jimin? Park Jimin?"
"Well, look who it is. I thought you didn't have the balls to go to the reunion, but you have balls to come and attend a date with me," he smirked and looked to the side.
"Let's be honest, you wouldn't even have more balls than me, sweetheart."
He looked at me, exaggerating the look of surprise on his face.
"Always the class clown, hmm?" I laugh lightly.
"Been reading the yearbooks huh? Haha, you're right, I'm still the good old Jimin from high school." He slightly tilts his head down to cover his eyes.
"Anyway, why are you here? Am I sitting at the wrong table or were you waiting for someone and I decided to check in with you? I have terrible memory, I'm sorry." I gripped the hem of my shirt even tighter.
He took out his phone.
"Kyun Winona will be meeting you at xxxxx Restaurant, 2:50 PM. Reservations have been made. Please enjoy your date." He read matter-of-factly.
"Yes. Please, sit down. Besides, you are my date for the night." He smiles.
"Don't be ridiculous, I was forced to come here." I adjusted the gold bangle bracelet and moved my seat closer to the table.
"So where have you been all these years?" He questioned me and leaned on his palm.
"After high school I got into university and I've just graduated, so now I'm working as a graphic designer." I leaned on my palm too and asked, "What about you?"
"Well, I've been managing my company and hanging out with the guys. You still remember them right?" He looked at me and smiled.
"Of course I do, they used to hang out with us and tease us so much." I giggled.
"Gosh, high school was fun." He plays with his fork.
"Yeah, not gonna lie, it was really fun hanging out with everyone." My eyes wandered down to the plate in front of me.
"Anyway, let's order food?" He must've noticed.
I quickly smiled.
"Yeah let's start ordering, didn't mean to keep you waiting for a meal with my question, haha." I smile and look down at the menu placed in front of me.
-----------------------------------------
"Damn, it's already 7 pm." Jimin looked at his watch and back at me.
"Oh, we should get going. Didn't mean to keep you so long." I quickly apologized.
"Still that apologetic girl for no reason, hmm?"
I laugh and look down at the floor.
Fuck.
Why are my cheeks burning up?
"Anyway, what are you gonna tell your mother after today's 'date'?" He smiles and looks at me.
"I'll tell her it went well."
"So you do want to date me?" He looks at me in shock.
"Let's be honest, after what you told me right after we graduated you know I would say yes." I giggle and then suppress it.
I realize I've been walking by myself. I look back and he's standing there in shock.
He whispers,
"You still remember."
