"The grass is greener on the other side",
Something I heard when I was just a child.
This is something to which all humans abide,
Aren't all humans just wild?

This saying, I've come to find,
Is true 'til the very last bite.
Not all humans are kind,
To get greener grass, some of them fight.

Fight, they do but not in a determined way,
Not by working night and day.
Fight, they do in a twisted way,
They'll be the end of this world, dare I say.

They said, "If you don't fight, you won't win!",
"I may fight but not in this way." said she.
They counter, "Fighting is not a sin!"
"Fighting may not be a sin, but it's no way to win."

"Oh, win you won't you petty little soul",
Said the so-called fighter.
Little did he know, she's not made of coal,
She won't burn with just a flick of his lighter.

Night and day, she grows brighter,
Finding a new way to green her grass.
In the determined way, she's a fighter,
She's definitely an extraordinary lass.

The end is near, but she didn't give up,
She didn't listen to the twisted ways of her kin.
Whenever she saw the so-called fighter she held her head up,
In the end, she did win.
