"Leaving, why" I had questioned the man before me. He looked directly at me and said this, " You are an Ultimatum, after you were to finish you high school classes, you were to come with us." I stared at him, dumbfounded almost by what he had just said. But one thing that really confused me was the last word in his sentence. "Wait, who is us" I questioned again. Truely I had no idea what was going on, but if this guy had thought I was going with him he had another thing coming.

The red haired man kept his gaze fixed on me, which kind of creeped me out in a way. He spoke again, "You will be coming with me, Grey 'The Five Bladed Swordsman' Urbis, Henry 'The Gravedigger' Steelman, Yurik von Brauheimer 'The Dragon Child', and my sister Jerina 'The Abyss' Urbis." The woman who had tapped my shoulder earlier, yeah, she was apparently Grey's sister, but she didn't have horns. Then I noticed something, she had wings, black feathered wings. Why was I not noticing any of this at all for one, and most important of all, why was I going to a military base?

While contemplating all of these things, I heard Jerina's voice, "J, there is something you are meant to do that you don't see yet possibly. But for now, to achieve that you will join us, and do as we say." I took that statement for a moment and replied, "Well, what if I don't, I mean Henry said there was going to be a tournament, if I win that I don't have to go. If I lose the tournament, then I leave to join you guys."

Henry took that into account as well, he and Yurik shouldn't have said anything about that. Grey looked at the two with a sneer, this was going to be difficult for him to get me to go with them. I smiled, he looked troubled. "Well, what do you have to say Grey" I questioned him. I saw Yurik, Henry and even Jerina look directly at him, like they were expecting an answer.

Henry spoke first, "Let's see how he fights first, and then, if he changes at all by then, we can't really do anything. Let's give him some time." Grey looked frustrated now. He must have had a lot going through his mind at the time. If he wouldn't have decided I would have for him, but before I could say anything he finally stated what was on his mind, "Okay, here's what's going to happen, you will go to that tournament, mainly since we do not know what you are capable of at this moment in time. But because you will not come at will, I have to let my boss know, and hopefully he won't give me some other job because you are ruining this mission. Another thing, if you win, you do stay, but only until you finish up your two years here. If you lose the tournament then you will come with us until you turn into whatever an Ultimatum turns into next." That sounded reasonable, for some reason they kept talking about what happens after an Ultimatum changes.

I decided to question them after that, "So why do you keep talking about the next form of an Ultimatum, I know something happens, but how do you people know?" Jerina looked directly at me, and explained, "We were told about Ultimatums by HQ, and everything was explained. We know about the other Ultimatums as well, but we do not know what happens to them either. Some force of some kind, we don't know what, is causing this change. That is all we know."

I looked at the group, Henry was apart of their group, I felt betrayed to a point. Then I looked at Grey, "This all started because my DNA was forcibly changed to cure me of a disease, now I have become this, if you want anything from me you better leave me alone first, and let things settle a little more. Besides you can wait for a couple months, its August by the way. What the competition starts a month or so before December, I will have my time. Then, when the tournament comes, Henry and Yurik better be watching their backs if I fight them."

Grey spoke back, "Don't worry, me and Jerina will be there too, fighting in the tournament." I laughed a sinister chuckle for a moment and let that settle into their ears. I wasn't feeling maniacal, but I was angry. Combine anger and the thrill of an upcoming fight, you get that laugh sometimes. The group looked at each other for a moment then back at me, as I chuckled some more, "Then you'd best watch your skin, cause I'm gonna tear you limb from limb if I fight you Grey." Then I walked away, an aura of anger surged before I shattered the blast room glass, something that was highly improbable to do, even for some of the strongest supernatural in the building. But me, I was more than supernatural, I was a mixture of science and supernatural. That's how I have become this way, genetic mutation, then a supernatural grip is forced upon me. If I change, no one on Earth will be able to do anything for me anymore. I will become more than an Ultimatum, maybe something far more incredible...a Creator.
