The Bionetic man named himself as Mason Fargrow apparently. I had then wondered to myself for a slight moment, Where have I heard that name before? Then the bionetic man had charged at me, materializing a war hammer in the palms of his hands. As he swung down, I dodged out of the way, right behind the cops.
But something weird happened, Mason's left arm had a glowing mark, and as the war hammer hit the ground, a shockwave was sent in our direction. The field of energy that I had felt around me suddenly strengthened up, expanded and blocked the shockwave. As if things went in slow motion, the shockwave began to slide over the field. It smashed anything else in its path after that.
I started to feel slightly drained, as I had brought the field back to me. "That was difficult" I shuddered, shaking off the drained feeling. The cops looked back at me, and I to them. "Who do you think you should shoot now" I questioned them. They had no response except to start firing upon the assassin. But it's like the bullets didn't phase him whatsoever. They just bounced off of his armor that he war.
Then time almost stood still, I looked over his armor that he wore, black and red. Light armor, but dense by the looks of it. Complex as well, considering that it also looked like a technological wonder. What time was this guy from? It was strange but then the slow feeling of time started back up, as the assassin had threw the war hammer directly at the cops and dashed forward right after that. It made me wonder who this guy was even more. Though I wondered, I brought up the field of energy again, but it didn't seem to physically block the war hammer. The cops were struck, and tossed aside like ragdolls.
Mason came in quick and tried to punch and kick in different directions. I dodged each and every swing and kick, surprisingly. The last kick he swung in I caught. He was aiming for my head. I took ahold of his leg and then spun in circles and circles until tossing him aside like a ragdoll. Is this what the DNA enhancements did to me? I was utterly amazed at what I could do. I felt like I had the edge of the world already at my fingertips. The assassin had crashed into a wall, placing cracks in the stone.
There was insanity all around, suddenly the fire alarm and sprinklers went off. There was a smoke coming from my hands and I could feel something strange. I felt my skin tearing, muscles enlarging, and my hair falling out to regrow. The assassin slowly budged out of his wall that he was stuck in. A gasp came across his face, as he spawned dual long swords. "This was not what was supposed to happen," Mason spoke, as he looked like he was preparing for the worst.
As my body began to burn, flames came up, to add to the effect and burned off my clothing. I began to float, and the flames started making markings on my arms that looked like some kind of tattoos. Then a white light looked like it had scanned me or something because it enveloped me. That was the wrong idea, it turned my skin into a pitch black color and turned the markings into a neon white. My skin had become the negative of what it was originally. Slowly, I fell down to the floor, and stared at the wet floor. I saw my clear reflection, the skin on my face was the same as much as any other body part. Especially with the markings. I had begun to feel the skin on my arms, and felt nothing but ice.
This had upset me, I was no longer who I once was. This had set up a new Ultimatum for me, find and destroy who has caused me this transformation; then forget. I looked up at the bio-netic assassin known as Mason. I could feel the heat broiling inside of me. He studdered to himself, "A n-new Ultimatum has-s a-arive-ed. Ultimatum J."
