I can't believe it! It's positive. I'm going to be a mom. Oh no! What is Vale going to think? Does he even want a kid? What if we aren't ready? But I have to tell him. It's now or never. I sighed and walked into Vale's study.
"Vale? I have some good news. Well it might be good or bad, depending on how you take it." I said freaking out and babbling.
"What is it honey?" Vale said standing up.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. "I'm pregnant." I said, looking down. I didn't want to see his expression. I was afraid he would reject the child.
"Look up Misaki." I looked up to Vale grinning from ear to ear. It was kind of creepy actually.
"I'm happy. I am beyond happy. I'm going to be a father!" He lifted me up and twirled me around. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He sat me back down. It had been about a month since Miki had her men attack me. She was still being trained as a maid, but I feel like she had learned her lesson.
"I wonder if they will be a girl or boy. Either way, I can't wait. You will make a great mother." I smiled at him.
"And you will make a great father."
