The Only Exception

Jennie's pov

A week pass by and tomorrow is our first anniversary. And I can't believe that Lisa haven't contacted me in a week! I did past by at Seulgi's café but Lisa is not there.

Of course I asked Seulgi but she just said that she don't know where that stupid ass is! Seriously! Lisa is getting into my nerves!

"Still doesn't show up?" I look up and saw Taehyung smiling at me.

I rolled my eyes and drink my now cold coffee while gazing down at the soccer field. I'm here at the rooftop hoping that Lisa would show up but even her shadow didn't!

Taehyung grab my wrist and pulled me up. He started to walk downstairs.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

"To let you know what's happening." He simply said. We arrived at the parking lot and he opened the shot-gun seat for me. I hesitantly get in. "Trust me"

With that I get in and wear the seatbelt. Taehyung then get in and started to drive. He drove until we arrived at a park. I was about to removed my seatbelt when Taehyung's hand stopped me. I look at him,

"This is what I want you to see Jen" He stated while gazing infront. I raised my eyebrow and curiously gazed in front.

Tears cascading down to my eyes that I can't stop. I put my hand in my mouth to suppress the tiny sob that getting out of me.

Lisa was there, hugging some girl and what shock me when Lisa kisses the forehead of the girl. Lisa never did that to any of her friends. Even to Rosé because she said that she will only do that to me because I'm that important to her.

"Get me out of here" I barely whispered. Luckily Taehyung heard that so he started the engine and drove off.

"Where would I take you?" He asked.

"Just take me home." he doesn't say anything and just drove me to my apartment.

Minutes later we arrive. I thank him and hurriedly go inside the building. He didn't follow me. Once I was inside the elavator, tears was starting to fall down again.

Luckily I'm alone inside. I heard the elevator ding and I ran to my unit. Once I close the door, I broke down. Is that why Lisa didn't say anything to me? Is that why she didn't contacted me for a whole week?

I walk towards my room and I cried and hug my knees. I can't believe that Lisa can do that to me. I thought she changed.

I cried myself alone in my room, I don't know how many hours I've been crying but I heard the front door beep indicating that someone entered my unit.

Seconds later, someone knock on my door.

"Jennie open this" I heard Jisoo unnie's soft voice. I stand up and opened it for her.

"What happened?" She calmly said to me.

"I saw Lisa, hugging some girl in the park." I said and cry again.

"Hmmm? maybe you concluded wrong" She said.

"No unnie! Lisa kissed her forehead! And She never kisses Rosé like that!" I frantically shout.

"She cheated on me unnie! She cheated on me!" I yelled. Jisoo unnie hugged me and whispered some sweet nothings to calm me down.

I don't know how many hours I've been crying but I just found myself picking up my phone and dialing the number that I didn't imagine that I would dialed.

"Hello?" The person answered. Jisoo unnie looked at me with pity and sighed.

"Aunt, I will go to you in New Zealand" I say. I saw unnie shaking her head to me indicating that she disagrees about my decision.

"Why the sudden change dear?" Aunt Dara said. "I will tell you when I arrived there Aunt"

"Okay. See you Jennie. Be careful on your flight" She said and hanged up.

"Jen I think you should go talk with Lisa first" Jisoo unnie once tried again.

"No unnie. I'm hurt. And what I've seen is enough reason to leave" I stated firmly. I called dad's secretary to book me a flight to New Zealand and started to pack up.

I heard Jisoo unnie sighed deeply. "If that is your decision then I will not stop you"

I didn't bother to answer and just continue to pack.

I can't face Lisa nor hear her voice. She lied to me. She kept many secrets to me.
