The Only Exception

Jennie's pov 

I woke up with the sound of my alarm. I reach out at Lisa's bed side table and turn it off. I look at the arms that hugging me and smile. 

6am. Our class starts at 8:30 .. I usually woke up this early for a jog but I guess since I'm with Lisa today, I will not go for a jog. 

I felt that Lisa moved and tightened her hug. I chuckled. Even when she's asleep she's clingy. I turned around to face her and poke her nose. 

She scrunched her nose and turn her head. I laugh. She really is a heavy sleeper. I slowly removed her arms around me and kiss her temple before I get up to make some breakfast. 

I pick the shirt that Lisa wearing last night not bothering to wear some shorts and I go to the kitchen. 

I look through her fridge and cabinets but to my disbelief, she only got a cereal and milk in her fridge. Sometimes I worry about this, she always eat non healthy foods. I said that she needed to learn to cooj for herself but she just always saying 'I have you and Rosé to cook for me'.  

I bite my nail, thinking if I should go out and buy some stocks or I will just call some delivery. I was in the deep thought when the front door opened. 

I look at the kitchen door and wait. I think I know who it is. 

"Oh, unnie you're here" Rosé said and placed the paper bag in the kitchen aisle. 

"Yeah. Did you know that your bestfriend doesn't have any stocks at her fridge?" I said and placed my hand in my waist. 

"Yep. I know unnie. I said that to her but she just let it around and never do what I said" Rosé said and sigh. 

"She only listen to you, you know?" She said. I shake my head and walk towards where the paper bags are. 

"Oh you brought some breakfast" I said while peeking through the paper bag.

"Yeah. Don't worry unnie. It's good for the three of us" She answered.  I nod my head and started to prepare what she brought. 

"By the way unnie, Jisoo unnie said that she will stop by here" Rosé informed me. 

"Why?" I asked. She smiled at me and place her cheeks in her palm. 

"She said that you're not in your unit so she assumed that you're here and she's going to give you a clean clothes." She answered. I shake my head while smiling. 

Well, Jisoo unnie don't need to bring me clothes because I can wear Lisa's clothes and I have a spare clothes in here but unnie being responsible and caring, she doesn't want to lose so I always let her. 

I was busy preparing what Rosé have bought when I felt an arms snaking around my waist and a head in my shoulder. I smiled when I smelled an familiar scent. 

"You're not there when I woke up" She whispered at my ear and kissed my ear lobe. 

"As you can see I was busy preparing in here" I stated the obvious. She kiss my nape that earned a chuckle on me. 

"Love stop" I said and faced her. I placed my arms on her shoulders and smiled. She hugged me in my waist and pout

"You know you can do that after I wake up" She whined. I tiptoed and kiss her nose. 

"You should go and buy some stocks love" I said and removed my arms. "Thankfully Rosé arrived just on time" I said and pointed at Rosé who has a bored look on her face while looking at us. 

"I think Jennie unnie needs to move in here." Rosé said and stand up

"Why?" I asked. 

"Because Lisa woke up by herself everytime that you're here. Plus, you two should learn to wear shirt and shorts maybe?" She said while taking the plates. 

I look at Lisa and noticed that she just wearing some sweatpants and Sports bra and I'm just wearing shirt and underneath it was just a panty nothing more. I laugh. Rosé was right. We should learn to wear it. 

"Oppss?" I joked. Rosé playfully rolled her eyes and sit in the chair in the dining Table and started to eat. 

I pulled Lisa to sit but she insisted that I should sit on her lap so I obliged. 

"What time are your part time Lisa?" Rosé asked out of the moon. I raised my eyebrow. I didn't know that she have a part time job? 

"What part time?" Lisa stiffened. I eyed her. She bite her lower lip and look anywhere but me. She does that everytime she did something or she hide something from me. 

She sighed and hug me. "Barista" She simply said and look down. 

"Where?" I asked. 

"At Seulgi's cafe" she answered me still looking down. 

"Why didn't you tell me?" I softly asked and lift her head. 

"Because I want to surprise you in our first year anniversary love" She mumbled enough for me to hear. I smiled slowly. 

"Thank you." I said. 

"But you could have sell your luxurious cars" I teased. She chuckled and kiss my nose. 

"I can but they have a sentimental value to me and I want to earned money that I worked hard for our anniversary love" She sweetly asked. I smiled. She really is a softy. 

"That's sweet love but I have a question about you" I straight forwardly asked her. 

"What is it love?" She asked and grab the spoon again. 

"Where do you get all those cars and how come I didn't see nor meet your parents here?" I asked and she stiffened. I notice that Rosé was stiffened too so I raised my eyebrow. 

There is something that they didn't tell me. Base on their reactions. I was going to confront them but Jisoo unnie's voice linger inside the kitchen.  

"What's up chickens!" She shouted. We all look at her. Jisoo unnie was smiling widely while lifting a bucket of chicken. But when she felt the tense atmosphere in us she put down her arm and her smile disappeared. 

"Okay? what's happening in here?" she asked while walking towards us. 

No one dared to speak of the three of us. Lisa and Rosé still didn't utter any word since I asked Lisa. They just focused in their plate that irratates me. 

"You don't need to answer that if you don't want" I said and stand up. I didn't wait Lisa to stand up too. 

I walk towards Jisoo unnir and grab the paper bag in her left hand. I mumbled a simple thank you to unnie and go towards Lisa's room. 

"Is she on a monthly period?" I heard unnie asked. 

I sighed and closed the door. I go straight in the bathroom and stripped my clothes. I step in the shower after I set it into warm. 

I let the water fall down on ny body and sigh. What more Lisa could be not saying to me? Lisa knows all about me. She was the only person that I could trust in my deepest secret. Even Jisoo unnie didn't know my secrets. But Lisa? I said it to her without hesitation but seeing now? Lisa was hesitating to tell me her secrets.  

I heard the bathroom door opened and the shower door. I didn't bother to look back. 

Arms snaking around my waist and kiss planted in my right shoulder. 

"Are you mad?" she whispered. I didn't answer her instead I removed her hands in my waist. 

"Love" She called once more.

"There are things that I can't say for now, and I promise Love when we graduate I will tell all of you. Please be patience with me" She softly said. I sigh and face her. 

"Be true to your words." I whispered and she nod. "Just trust me please" I sigh and get the shampoo and started to put it on her. She did the same to me.

After we take a bath together, we saw Jisoo unnie and Rosé sitting beside the kitchen aisle talking seriously.

"What are you talking about?" Lisa asked. 

"Nothing. Let's go?" Rosé said. I eyed Jisoo unnie and she just let out a small smile before she left beside Rosé.
