The Only Exception

"Get up!" I scrunched my face because of the annoying voice that keeps yelling at me. I face the other side and go back to the dreamland. 

"I swear if you won't get up. I will throw all of your cameras!" And by that, I abruptly sit up and glare at her. 

"What are you glaring at? For your information, it's already 7:30 and our class starts at 8! Get your ass up and take a bath!" I didn't mind what she said and lay down again. I was about to close my eyes again but I felt a sting pain in my butt and she kick me to fall from my bed! 

"Yah!" I yelled. "Get your ass up now Lisa. Look at your clock" I rolled my eyes on her and take a glance on my clock.  My eyes totally widened when I saw that it's 7:45 already! Means I only got 15mins to prepare. 

"The heck Chipmunk why didn't you go here early?!" I shout while running to the bathroom. There's no time to take a shower. So I just wash my face and brush ny teeth. Damn, It's the first day of our last year as a college student and I got late again. 

"What?! I was here in your unit exactly 6:30am and I was waking your ass up when I step inside here!" Rosé yelled outside. 

I didn't answer her and get a hoodie and a black pants. I removed all of my clothes including my underwear and wear the clean clothes that I pick. 

"Damn Lisa. Even if we are best friends since we're kids. Please when you're changing your clothes please mind that I am here." She irritatingly stated. 

"What? You've seen my body not once but many times." I said. I heared her scoff. 

"That was many years ago. When we are kids Lisa. And seriously? Ew." She said. I just chuckled at her and get my bag. I started to walk outside when she complained again. 

"You're bot bringing your bike?" She said 

"Nah. I'll ride with you this time." I said 

"What?!" she shout. I cover my ears and glare at her. 

"Damn. You're so loud." I said. She smack my head and I pout. 

"You have a big bike yet you are going to ride in my car? The audicy Manoban" She rolled her eyes on me. 

"Are we really going to argue now? We're already late..." I paused and look at my phone. "10 minutes." I continued. 

"I hate you." She said and glare at me while getting inside of her car. I chuckled and opened the passenger seat. I settled myself comfortably before I teased her. 

"You love me" I teased. She just rolled her eyes on me and started driving.

Good thing that our school was just 10 minutes away from my house. This is the reason why I don't want to ride my bike if I will just going to school.  It's just a waste of gas. 

Don't misunderstand me, I'm rich. I just valued money and I always think that it is better to use it for others than to myself. So every sunday, I'll go in my parents foundation to help them. 

I'm Lalisa Manoban, the daughter of the richest man in the asia. Marco. Well, not totally daughter because he's only my step father. But he treat me like his own that's why I love him. 

I hide my identity here in Korea because I want to experience the normal life before I handle all of my father's company. Same as Rosé. Her family is the third richest in the asia. Second is the Kim's. Dad wants me to take business management course but that's not I want. I want to take photography but what can I do? I can't disappoint my step father. 

"Lisa we're here" Rosé said and unbukling her seatbelt. 

"Oh" I uttered and started to unbuckle nd seatbelt and get out of the car.  

We're now walking towards our room when someone smack our heads at the back. We look who's fault that and saw a smirking Seulgi and Wendy at our back. 

"Late again?" Seulgi said. 

"Why? Looks like we're not the only one who will get scolded later" I mock. They chuckled at me and Seulgi put her arm around my shoulder. 

We opened the door that makes the professor stop at what she was saying. 

"Ms. Manoban, Ms. Park, Ms. Kang and Ms. Son. I'm not surprised that you're late again" She sarcastically said to us. I rolled my eyes at her and started to walk to my seat. 

"I'm not done with you Ms. Manoban" She said. 

"Would you just continue your lesson? And don't mind us." I said and sat down. She rolled her eyes on me while the three idiots bow to her before they go to their seats. 

"What would I do to you, tsk. Ms. Kim. You know what to do" Ms. Dara said. 

I rolled my eyes before I look into Jennie. Yes, Jennie Kim. The president in student council here and the most intelligent in this school. And yes, My record here is not that good. Well, at least they don't know that I'm the adopted daughter of the richest man in asia. As long as they don't know about it, I'm okay with it. 

She eyed me before she wrote something down on her desk. She has this bored look when she was listening to the lessons. I shrugged and place my head into my desk. I want to sleep. So I closed my eyes but before I drifted to sleep, a paper ball landed on my head. I look up to see who throw that to me when I saw a cat eyed girl who's glaring at me. 

She huff and rolled her eyes on me before she look at the front. Tsk. 

Minutes later Ms. Dara ended her class. It's lunch time now. I was fixing my bag when a red paper with a 'Detention' written on it landed on my desk. I look up and saw a kitten who look bored. 

I get it and huff. "how many minutes?" I asked. "Since it's not new to you. I'm giving you an hour of detention." She said and go to her sit. 

I sighed and get up. She usually give me a half an hour of detention. Tsk. I walked to where Seulgi is. She was talking to Jisoo about the game they played last night. 

"Hey" I said. They look at me and smirk. "What?" I asked. 

"Nothing. So how many minutes?" Seulgi asked. "An hour" I answered. Jisoo laugh at me. 

"Wow that's new. Well, goodluck to boredom Lisa" She said and pat my shoulders, she get her bag and wait for us to follow her outside. 

"Where's Wendy and Rosé?" I asked Seulgi. 

"Oh they are in the restroom." I nodded and walked outside the room. 

"Let's go, we have a detention fo face" I said and about to walked where the detention are when Seulgi laughed. 

I raised my eyebrow at her. "Why?" I asked 

"What do you mean 'we'?  It's only you Lalisa." Seulgi said while still laughing. 

"What?!!  Why only me?!" I frustrated asked. 

"Because you're the only one who has a guts to answer Ms. Dara like that." I look at my back and saw Irene together with Joy. 

They passed by me and Irene pinched Seulgi's ear to stop the latter from laughing. "See you after an hour Lis" Jisoo said and waved teasingly at me. "Goodluck with my cousin!" She added. 

I sigh. They all walk to the cafeteria and here I am walking towards where the detention are. 

I opened the door and saw nothing inside. I huff. She's late again. Tsk. I choose the seat beside the window and look outside. We're college yet this school has still a detention room. 

My stomach grumbled so I hold it. "I'm hungry" I mumbled and sigh. I heard the door opened revealing this cat eyed president. She walk to me and place a paper bag in front of me. 

"What's this?" I asked. 

"Food." She answered and sit on her desk in front. I sighed and look through it.
