Erinne glances up from her lap as Jessica heads back into the living room. She raises an eyebrow at her friend confused. Jessica just shakes her head and grabs a Gatorade, acting as if nothing happened. Erinne stands, starting to glance around the room. Everything is dusty and old, some shelves breaking at the sides. The walls are a pretty maroon color, though the paint is peeling some. It has a creepy cool look to it.

The fireplace in the center of the room up against the wall in front of where they are sitting. Beside Jessica's seat is a long horizontal window, lighting up the room. "We should have a fire tonight. It would keep us warm and we could roast smores." She exclaimed while looking out the window. Jessica had hummed in thought before agreeing with a quiet mhm. Errine quickly glanced at Jessica, confused yet again. Jessica usually has an answer for everything, not just an mhm. Something had to have happened when she walked into Emilie's room, Errine thought to herself. She then sat down again, covering herself with a throw blanket this time.

After about an hour, Emily woke up and Errine was now sleeping on the chair she was in. Jessica was in the kitchen humming softly as she was looking at the food. Emily cleared her throat softly as she got close to Jessica causing her to jump slightly. Jessica quickly turned around while holding her chest. She realized who it was shortly after, relaxing a little. "Gosh you scared me." She whisper/yelled. Emily held in a quiet laugh, "Sorry." She managed to get out with a smile. Emily looked around and tilted her head in the direction of the door. "What the.." She said softly while getting up, walking to it. To the left of the door is a small bookshelf looking thing with some old papers on it. "What is it?" Jessica asked softly. Emily picked up a few papers bringing them to the bar table in the kitchen. "Looks like.. newspapers." Emily said as she blows on it slightly, sending a small cloud of dust in Jessica's direction.

Jessica sneezes, getting a small apology from Emily."What year is it from?" Jessica asks as she leans on her elbows, looking in from the opposite side of the bar table. "Uhh.." Says Emily until she finds the date. "Ah, here it is. It's from.. March 8th, 20..20-" Emily stops talking as her eyes widen some. "That's when-" Jessica starts but stops abruptly. Emily and Jessica make eye contact before speaking in sync, "Aria."

They stare at each other, sadness filling their eyes. Jessica starts to shake slightly, and she slowly sinks to her knees. Emily watches her, fighting the urge to do the same. "Why are these here?" She asks softly. The question isn't necessarily to any one person. She then sets the newspaper onto the dusty countertop before getting off the bar stool. It makes a few quiet creaking noises, maling Emily glare at it. Jessica starts to hyperventilate a little. Poor Jessica.. Her and Aria were really close.. Emily thinks to herself.

A groan behind her causes Emily to let out a small shriek. She whips her head around to see Errine stretching in her chair. Once Errines eyes open she looks at Emily, tilting her head, "What'd I do?" She asks, only for her friend to wave off the question."Where's Jessica?" Errine questions while standing and stretching her arms above her head. Jessica sniffles before peeking her head out from the opposite side of the counter, "I'm here, just l-looking for something to eat." As she says this, she picks up a random can, showing Errine so she doesn't get concerned. Errine just stares at her for a moment. She then looks to the can, then back to her, "Uh huh." She says, clearly unsure of how to react.

Jessica runs a hand through her own hair, getting it out of her face. Squinting at the light shining from the window, Errine goes over to it. The window is dusty at the edges, looking rusted. "We need some fresh air in here." She exclaims before putting her knee onto the couch in front of her. Her hands grip the sliding part of the window, pulling it to the side. It takes a few moments before it starts to open, making creaking noises as it does so. Dust starts to fly as it opens, causing Errine to cough a few times. Once the window is open some, she sticks her head out the window, breathing in the pine smelling air. "Aah.. that's good.." She speaks to herself with a small smile.

Emily looks at Errine with a smirk, before looking at the fireplace. "I'm going to go get some firewood." She says softly, as if not wanting to startle anyone. As she picks up her jacket from the counter, she gives Jessica a small apologetic smile. Jessica just sighs, picking up the newspaper and putting it into a drawer.Emily then slips on her shoes before walking to the door, "I'll be back." She says gently before opening the door and walking out.

The door closes behind her rather quickly, as if a draft shut it. Errine waves to Emily as she walks past the window. "See ya." She says. Emily just waves back before looking at the ground searching for sticks. The ground is muddy in some areas, and grassy in others. It makes her smile as the mud squishes under her shoes. "This reminds me of my childhood.." She says to herself before sighing. "The sticks better not be wet." She whines.
