🔥 Diluc x [F] Reader - You're Drunk

"Diluc! You're the Darknight Hero!"

He glares at me, storms over grabs my wrist. "(Y/N) you're drunk, you need to go home."

I try to get out of it, "I'm not drunk. I haven't even had a drink."

He drags me behind the tavern. "You're drunk understand."

"I-I uhhh..."

"I'm taking you home." He starts dragging me home.

Make it back to my place, he lets go of my wrist. "Get some sleep, hopefully, you won't remember any of this." He starts walking away.

"What if I do remember? Then what?"

He stops, "you're drunk. You won't remember," he leaves.

I walk inside, lock the door. "It's not like I'll tell anyone your secret." Lean back on the door.

Look to the wrist that he held. I go to bed thinking of Diluc.

Over the next week, I didn't see Diluc. Today I decided to drop into the tavern. Open the door Venti already drinking. He looks too young to be drinking. But if he wasn't of age, Diluc won't serve him.

"If you're looking for Master Diluc he's not here."

"Oh thank you, Charles. Have a good afternoon."

"You too."

I head home... "I miss not seeing Diluc. Seeing him go off at Kaeya. Kaeya picking on him for drinking grape juice. I wonder why he doesn't drink?"

"I don't like how it feels in my mouth."

I turn to see Diluc. "You can try something else. I'm sure it'll be a lot better. But I've heard it can be more addictive than alcohol."

"Oh, what's that?"

"Wouldn't you like to know? ~" He chuckles, "so where have you been?"

He looks the other way, "I've been busy."

"Okay, you must be tired. I'll let you go, it was good seeing you." I guess he was busy being the Darknight Hero. Start walking, but Diluc catches up to me.

"Have you heard any rumours lately?"

"Nope, haven't heard any. Why?"

"No reason."

"Okay..." We walk in silence.

"(Y/N)."

"Oh yes?"

"Will you company back home?"

"Me? You want me to come home with you?"

"If you don't want to, it's fine."

"Oh no, it's just I wasn't expecting it."

"Why is that?"

"No reason."

We make our way to the Dawn Winery. "Wow! Your home looks beautiful."

He chuckles, "I haven't heard that before."

"It is, with the fireflies, and the moon shining just right."

"I think you're drunk, haha."

"Haha, probably. I get drunk and start seeing things. Maybe I should switch to grape juice What do you think?"

"I think that would be a good idea." He gives a small smile.

He ends up showing me around the manor. There was artwork around, he says was his late father's.

"Would you like a taste of some wine?"

"Oh no, I'm fine thank you."

We ended up in his office, "there's a reason why I ask you to come."

"Is it because of the other night? When you found me drunk?"

"Yes, it is." He sits down, I follow. "(Y/N)..." He sighs, "you're not safe. When the Abyss order finds out you know the identity of the Darknight Hero. They'll target you."

"But I haven't said a word, other than that night. Plus no one heard me say anything."

"It doesn't matter, it's my fault. My responsible, now on you'll be living here."

"What? Live here, with you?"

"Yes, you'll have a room."

"Oh okay, what about my stuff?"

"I'll have someone collect your stuff, in the morning."

"Oh okay."

"You seem tired, I'll show you to the room. You'll be sleeping in."

"Okay," I follow him out to the room. Is that where he's been all week. Taking down the Abyss Order?

He opens the door, I walk in it looks like someone already owns it. "Diluc are you sure it's this room? Looks like someone already... Umm owns it."

"Yes, this is my room. You'll be safer sleeping with me."

"Wait a minute..." Turn and look at him, "you set this up didn't you. So I would see you as the Darknight Hero. Say my life is in danger, get me to sleep with you."

"(Y/N)... I wanted to tell you. You seeing was an accident, you life really is in danger. Us sleeping together... It's for your safety, you're drunk again."

He pulls me into bed, lays down pulls me onto his chest. "I didn't mean to endanger your life. But I will protect you."

"I'm honoured to have the Darknight Hero as my protector. I think he deserves this." I kiss his lips, pull back look at him. "In the morning you'll have to remind me. Since I'm drunk, okay?"

He chuckles, "I will."

He pulls the blanket over us. I close my eyes and go to sleep.
