"(Y/N) lets go forge for some ingredients!"

"Didn't we just go forging not long ago?" I look, see a bit of sauce on her cheeks. She notices and quickly wipes it away.

"Well, you see..."

"Haha, come on let's go."

"Yay!" She cheers we start walking. She goes on about what dishes she might make.

We walk cross paths with Lumine. We stop talk to Lumine and Paimon, for while. Xiangling goes quiet. I make an excuse for us to leave.

"It was nice talking to yous, but we've got to get going."

"Okay, bye (Y/N),~ Xiangling."

"Xiangling next time you'll have to cook us some pyro slime." Paimon only ever thinks about food.

"Uhh, sure! Bye guys!"

"See yous next time."

We go our separate ways, we head down the path. Notice Xiangling no longer her happy, bubbly self.

"Hey what's the matter? Do you have stomach cramps?"

"Uhh, oh no I'm fine. Hey, look cryo slimes."

"Yeah! Come on!" She runs off, I follow after her.

I finish the last one with a electro strike. I twirl my polearm, bring it in. It disappears, I help her collect the slime. As I kneel notice she upset. I know something not right. We collect all of them, she starts cooking.

"Xiangling I know you're upset."

"What makes you think I'm upset?"

"You're not your happy, bubbly self. And you're really quiet. That's not like you."

"Oh..." She lowers her spoon, sits down.

"Xiangling, you know you can tell me anything. We're friends, aren't we?" She rubs her arm, I sit next to her. Place my hand on hers. "I'm worried, please tell me what's going?"

She sighs, "you don't need worry..."

I take her hands in mine, she looks at our hands up to me. I look her straight in the eyes. "I thought we were close friends."

"Y-You think of me as a close friend?"

"Of course I do! Moved from Mondstadt to Liyue so we hang out more. I know you get really busy at the restaurant, sometimes I can only see you at work." She starts to tear up, "Xiangling."

"I'm sorry (Y/N)."

"What are you sorry for?"

"I got jealous... Of you and Lumine. She's been asking you to go on commissions a lot lately. And I was..." She wipes the tears away.

I pull her into a hug. "You were afraid I would stop being your friend?" She nods, "I could never stop being your friend. Lumine needs my help, Fischel been busy. I was just filling in for her."

"I feel so silly."

"You are silly," I boop her nose.

"Hey!" She rubs her nose.

I laugh at her, "you can be silly sometimes you know."

She looks at her hands, "I'm sorry. I thought you would move back to Mondstadt."

"I'm not moving back, you don't need to worry. How about we finish cooking the cyro slime? And go back to forging."

Her stomach rumbles, "yes! I'm hungry!"

We finish and go back to forging. It starts raining and we run back to my house. With our arms full of ingredients. We make it inside and we're soaking wet.

"Wow, that rain came out of nowhere." We place the ingredients on the table.

"Tell me about it. Doesn't look like the rain going to lightening up anytime soon. So...."

"SLEEPOVER!" There's the Xiangling I know.

"Haha, you can use the bathroom first. I'll get you some pyjamas."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure," make my way to the bedroom. I stop at the door."

"Okay... When you have a shower I'll cook you something extra yummy!"

"Haha, sounds good."

"Mmmm smells delicious." I dry my hair as I walk into the kitchen. There's dishes upon dishes of food.

"Hehe, thanks. Here try this!" Pushes a plate in front of me, holds a spoon for me.

"What is it?" I take a bit, "oh Barbatos it soo flavorful!"

Notice her cheeks turn red. "It's Mushroom Slime Stew. I haven't sold a single one in the past month."

I finish the bowl, "I don't see why. I love it!"

"Y-You do?"

"Yes, I do! Can I have another bowl, please?"

"Yes, of course!"

"Ohhh I'm so full. I can't eat another thing..." I lay back on the lounge.

"Not even one little treat?"

I raise an eyebrow, "a treat?"

"Here try it!"

She holds out a small purple ball. "It looks like a electro slime."

"Try it! ~"

"Okay, haha." I eat it, I get like a little nap. "Oh!" Taste sorta sour but not really.

"What do you think? I wanted to go something with the electro slime, but I wasn't sure."

"It's very different. Get the little nap, then sorta sourness? I'm not sure, but I do love the different taste."

She jumps on me, knocks me back on the lounge. "I'm so glad you like it!"

"I like everything you cook. Especially the slime dishes."

She giggles lays next to me. "I know I can always count you (Y/N). You always encourage me to try new slime dishes."

"I don't see anything wrong with your slime dishes. It's their loss for not having a spoonful."

"Thanks... (Y/N)..." She falls asleep, more like a food coma.

"Your welcome Xiangling, goodnight." Close my eyes and fall asleep.
