Blaise and Draco make their way around the twists and turns that Hogwarts greeted them with all the way back in first year. How simple the times were in first year. The most important thing going on in their lives was learning to play quidditch and getting used to being all on their own. Of course, Draco always wrote to his mom.

'Dear Mother,

This is my first week here, and I am enjoying myself! Blaise and I are rooming together in the Slytherin dorms. He is the best roommate ever!

I can't wait to come home and see you though. The meals here are not as good as the ones that Mippy makes at home.

Elle is doing okay, she has stuck with the Parkinson girl, who is also rooming with her.

I will write soon, Mother!

Much Love,

Draco x'

Blaise and Draco were currently on the fourth floor stairs, waiting for the next set to greet them. Both of them felt equally nervous to see what they would find in that alcove.

"Blaise?"

"Yeah, Draco?"

"Do you think he will be hurting her when we get there?"

"God, I hope not. But we cannot rip his head off. Elle doesn't know that you know."

"I don't know if I can hold myself back from beating the ever loving shit out of him."

"Then I don't think you should be there, Draco." Blaise said sadly, "Because we can't let Adrian know that we know anything. He may hurt her more."

That could not happen. Draco had to know just how bad this was.

"Okay." Draco said reluctantly. "I'll stay quiet this time."

The stairs that would bring them to the third floor arrived in front of them to climb. Each step felt heavier and heavier as the two boys stalked further down towards the dungeons of the school.

"You mentioned her having a deadline, could you explain that?"

Blaise sighed before he began speaking "I told her that I was going to step in and help her out of this. Get Adrian off of her back, but she said she could handle it on her own. She begged me to keep it a secret and not do anything about it. She wouldn't take no for an answer, so I said okay. I gave her thirty days to cut everything off with Adrian, and if she didn't do it, I would step in and finish things."

"What are you going to do if she can't break things off?" Draco asked worriedly.

"Well, I was going to get our teammates together and explain that he is hurting our Elle, and that he must be punished for his crimes against humanity." Blaise said with fury behind his words. He and Draco both knew that the entire team would beat up one of its members to help another member. They all loved Elle more than Adrian anyway.

"Well I am going to do it regardless. I'm just waiting thirty days to do it." Blaise said with a smirk. Draco really liked Blaise's plan. It was something he could most certainly get behind.

"I check in with her every other day. I make sure that she is okay, and I ask her if and when she is going to do it. Now that we are near the end of the thirty days, she has grown more and more frantic whenever I ask her about finishing the job. She says things like 'I don't know how I can do this without hurting other people.' and other garbage like that." Draco rolled his eyes at Blaise's words.
