*A/N- sorry I have been gone so long, college has been kicking my booty! I just got to email interview a famous author for my newspaper story, which was a proud moment for me recently. I tried to make the chapter a little longer than normal, but idk how much longer it actually is lol. Hope you enjoy!

Footsteps clanked down the stone hallway of Hogwarts. The rubber boots hitting the stone intimidated all of those people in the hallway. Children of all ages moved to the side, as to stay in the good graces of the center of attention. Of Adrian Pucey.

He felt on top of the world, like nothing that anyone could say would have any effect on him. He really enjoyed the fact that people were scared of him... that people hated him. In his sick and twisted head, he liked not having to be nice to people. Now that everyone knew who he really was, he didn't have to hide. Besides, he could really spend time and focus on his friends now, not Elle. As much as he loved her, he had to let her go gently. In his mind at least.

It was easy to get to the dungeons, and he was about to enter the common room when he saw Ron Weasley standing in front of the stone wall that led to the common room.

"Pucey."

"What do you want, Weasley?" Adrian scoffed at the guts Weasley had to be speaking to him at this moment.

"I have a proposition for you."

"Oh, you do." he chuckled, "and what would that be?"

"I want you to join me. Join the golden trio."

"Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a trio. Merlin, Weasley, you really are dumb."

"Pucey. Just listen to me."

Pucey motioned for him to continue.

"What I mean is, ally yourself with us. You hate Elle just as much as I do."

"I don't hate Elle-"

"My guy, you literally did the worst thing you could ever do to a girl just to get her off of your back."

"How do you know that was my reasoning?"

"Why else would you do it, you're not a completely insane person." Ron said, which made both of them chuckle.

"Okay, what would my alliance entail?"

"Just hang out with us, show Elle that you're with us. Hermione is already in on it, we will just have to try and get Harry to go along with it. Meet me tonight in the library. 30 minutes."

With that, Ron walked away, not needing confirmation that Pucey was going to show up, because he gave Pucey quite possibly the best deal that would save his reputation for good.

Pucey watched Ron as he walked away, both parties feeling triumphant. He whispered the password that only a pureblood Slytherin would really know and he entered the common room. He was able to see his favorite Eltanin, along with all of her friends. His friends too. When did their friend groups conjoin? He never paid any mind to it.

"Well well well, if it isn't little Elle," he said. He wanted to do everything in his power to intimidate her, especially with his new... alliance. With Dumbledore protecting him, he didn't have to worry about getting into any trouble. "I heard you just got back. How was your little week off?"
