Lucius demanded to see Elle before she could get completely packed up. He entered the Slytherin common room in a ball of fury, seeing Elle, Draco, the Parkinson girl and the Zabini boy making their way to her room. Why isn't she packed yet? Lucius tried to catch up to them, but failed to do so when he saw the door get slammed in his face. He figured that she wasn't even ready.
"Eltanin. We are leaving now." Lucius called from outside her door, hoping to get a response.
Meanwhile, in the bedroom, the four friends are frantically grabbing clothes and other things that she would need to take with her for her week at the manor.
"I'll be out in a sec!" Elle called from inside the room. She knew that Lucius was getting impatient, and she didn't blame him one bit.
"You have five minutes." Lucius demanded of her. She looked to her four friends with a somber expression.
"Please be careful," Pansy says, hugging Elle tight.
"Pansy, I'm just going to the manor. Merlin, you all are acting like I am going to war."
"I know, but I won't see you. I just want to make sure you know that I am expecting you to come back." She says sternly. Both of them look into eachothers eyes and start laughing, knowing Pansy is full of crap.
Blaise decided to steal Elle next. He wrapped her into a tight bear hug. Blaise was the best at that. He gave her a small kiss on her forehead and pushed her away so that he could see her properly.
"I love you, Elle."
"Love you too, Blaise." Elle smiled, patting Blaise on the shoulder.
Draco was the last one to give her a hug. She knew that she would need more time with him, and she wanted him to go with her, but that wasn't totally feasible. So, Draco enveloped her in a loving hug, letting her know that she was going to be okay. That Lucius and Narcissa were going to take care of her.
"Owl me if you need to. I've missed Pollux." Draco smiled, and she returned it. She gave him a soft look, thanking him for always being there. Sometimes, Elle felt like she and Draco had a connection. Like they could communicate with each other without even needing to say words. That was probably because they grew up together. They knew each other better than anyone else.
She opened the door to see an irritated Lucius blocking the exit.
"We need to leave. I'm here past my time authorized by that buffoon you call a headmaster." Lucius sneered.
"I'm sorry, Lucius." Elle said as she walked past the group of teens and past Lucius.
"Father."
"Yes, Draco?"
"Take care of her. You remember the thing?"
"You think I don't remember" Lucius laughed at his son. The audacity of him to ask that question.
"Alright. Bye father."
"Goodbye Draco. Mr. Zabini. Ms. Parkinson."
With that, Lucius whipped his long coat around his body and walked away from the three children, catching up to Elle and taking her bag. Elle gave one last wave to her friends, who stood in her doorway.
"We need to leave." Lucius said, placing a hand on Elle's shoulder. She nodded and left the room and Lucius followed.
They made their way through dark, empty corridors, since classes were going on right about now, they felt safe. Even if classes weren't going on, Lucius was intimidating enough that no one would bother them.
