The week at the manor passed by smoothly. Narcissa gave her some space for the first day or so, then she took her out to do a plethora of things. She got a major haircut. She chopped it to be shoulder length and spent time curling it every morning, making beautiful waves in her hair.

She bought a whole new wardrobe, throwing away her old clothes and allowing the new her to shine through the old. She got plenty of cute skirts and other cute items of clothing that would last her a long time. She felt like she was just about done growing, since she had just turned fifteen. She hasn't changed much since she was about thirteen.

Eltanin came home that day with the biggest smile on her face, her hands full of bags and other accessories. Lucius' eyes widened when she came out of the Floo with Narcissa appearing behind her.

"Oh don't look surprised, Lucius." Narcissa said with a laugh.

"Lucius, honey, would you be a dear and take these up to Elle's room?" Narcissa asked with a sly smile. Lucius huffed and stood from his chair, taking the bags from Elle's hands.

"Merlin, the things I do for these women."

Narcissa and Elle shared a laugh as Lucius begrudgingly made his way to her room. The girls followed him.

"Is he mad?" Elle asked, giving Narcissa a concerned look.

"Oh no, dear. And if he is, for some reason, angry, he will have to put up with me. Don't fret, star." Elle gave a soft smile as Narcissa kissed her forehead lightly.

"I will have your stuff sent to your room in Hogwarts, you rest up a bit before dinner." Narcissa said as her and Lucius left Elle alone in her room.

"Will do." Elle smiled again. She was so grateful to have her around. Elle started to pull her clothes out, placing them either in her trunk or her closet, humming her little tune to herself while she did it.

"Oh, and Eltanin..." Lucius said, peeking around the door again.

"Yes, Lucius?"

"I want you in my study in half an hour." Lucius said and left with a crack. He often liked to apparate around the manor, although it was weird to Elle, she wasn't going to stop him.

She looked at the top shirt in her bag, pulling out to change into. It was a beautiful forest green cropped with long sleeves. She put on a pair of black corduroy overalls overtop and slipped on a pair of combat boots as well. She was loving this new look, and she couldn't wait to show it off. So, she left her room, trying to keep her head high even though she felt like she was walking through cement.

She trudged along down the hallway, greeting her favorite Malfoy paintings on her way. There was one painting in particular that she loved to talk to. Her name was Gueneviere, and she lived during the times of Merlin. She was a gorgeous woman, and was always light, sunny, and bright eyed. She would often sneak out of her room at night to see it. She sat right outside of Lucius' study, and she was the sweetest lady. Very contrary to the rest of the platinum family. One of her most memorable moments was of a conversation that she had with the teacher, talking about not having parents, and the Malfoy painting just listened to her, which was something she wasn't used to.

Gueneviere helped her through some hard times, and when she approached her again while standing right outside of Lucius' office, Guen looked forlorn.
