Once we cleaned up the dining room, we all sat at the table once again and talked. " Hey, (Y/n), mind explaining how you know Lloyd?" Kai asked. " Hey, you said you will explain later, well now is later," Jay added. Everyone looked at me. I sighed, " Well before I became a Ninja, I with best friends with Lloyd. We first became friends when I was walking around a village and saw Lloyd sitting in the shadows, he looked sad so I went over to him. I lifted out my hand and helped him out. I introduced myself and offered him some gummies I had. He smiled and told me his name, taking some candy. We just became friends from them. He scared off some kids who used to pick on me and was just overall a good friend. But we lost contact after I went with Sensei. " I explained. " That is, not as an interesting story as I thought it would be," Cole said. " I know right," Jay added. I just shook my head, " Whatever, I'm going to go to bed." I got up from the table and walked away.

I pulled my blanket over my head after being awoken by Sensei Wu banging a small gong. "Evil doesn't sleep and neither should you!" We all groaned as we were awoken. "In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity." " Okay okay, we're up. But if you want us to reach our full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest? " Kai yawned getting up and pulling off the window blinds. We all got off our beds. I stretched, yawning as I pulled my fingers through my messy hair. "You call that a rest? I think my back had more lumps than the mattress." Cole complained. I agreed. "We were up so late, talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters, I guess we lost track of time. Since the Serpentine burned down our  monastery, I'm just glad we have a roof over our head..." Jay suddenly coughed and spat into the sink as he accidentally brushed his teeth with dirt and toothpaste. I laugh at his pain.

" What is our lesson today, Sensei? Mastering the strike of the Scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of-" Zane moved around but the floor broke under his weight causing him to cough. " I think today's lesson will be, chores. "Chores!?" We all said at once. " Dammit, I thought I got away with chores," I complained. " Ninja fight, Sensei. They do not clean." Cole added, " I rather fight a snake than do chooores." I continue to complain. "In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it." Wu banged the gong again as he walked away. 

Cole lifted up Zane from the broken floorboards. "uuugh this place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up." Kai mumbled angrily. " Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" Jay suggested, winking.

Cole did spinjituz and cleaned out all the dust, webs, and old objects from a room, putting them all outside with a sign that said garage sale. Kai and Zane cleaned the room by freezing it and then burning the ice. Jay uncovered a huge computer system and used his nunchucks to fix it. I got rid of any bugs and little creatures living in the Bounty. Putting them outside unless they were cockroaches, I had one of the boys do that because ew. Hell no. I did pick up a rat though, that was fun. It tried to bite me. Anyways, all five of us put up the sails then went to play games, even I got to play this time! 

" What took you so long?" Kai smirked as Sensei and Nya walked into the room. " Wow, This place looks amazing! You guys did all this?" Nya was amazed. " Ninja don't just fight Nya, we clean," Cole replied. "Oh, you have exceeded my expectations." Sensei Wu started as I heard a car honk outside. " But can you keep it up?" Nya looked outside and saw a car coming closer to the Bounty. " Looks like we're about to have some visitors, and loud ones at that. " Jay sighed, "Ugh...It's my parents. Please, if they start yapping, just don't let them going, okay? They don't know when to quit. And if you start talking then they'll start talking, and suddenly half the day is gone before you know it ends," " We get it! They talk a lot." Kai cut him off. " the cherry doesn't fall far from its blossom." I said after him. I snickered. 

We all walked outside as we saw Jay's Parents and their funky car. " Mom! Dad! What are you doing here?" Jay acted happy. " Oh, look! It's my baby boy! It's been so long since we heard from you!" Jay's mom, Edna, call out. " Ma, I called you two days ago." I punched Jay in the arm and gave him a look that read, be nice to your fricking parents. "Oh well... It's not soon enough, son. When are you coming out to the junkyard? You say you are coming an..an..and you don't." Jay's father, Ed, stated as they got out of the car. "Daaaaad...do we have to talk about the junkyard in front of my friends?" Jay complained. "He hates it when we tell people he was born in a junkyard." Edna told us before she saw Nya. " Ooh, and who are you?" She gasped. " You are so cute! You are just my son's type!" " Mooom!" I laughed, loudly. " And you darling are the cutest kid I've ever seen!" Edna then complimented me. " thank you Mrs. Walker." I said sweetly. " It's a pleasure of meeting you. I'm sure if you want, Jay can give you a tour. He worked very hard on it." Nya said, blushing a tad. " We'd love a tour!" Ed and Edna said together. I thought it was very cute but Jay was sooo annoyed. He sighed before showing his parents around the Bounty.

" And this the bridge. This extends into a periscope. This tells what's going on in Ninjago. And this...if a Serpentine's not giving us the answer we want, and we're late up night.." "A neuro apparatus to read their minds?" "An audio appliance to make them talk?" The old couple cut off their son. " No,  a cappuccino machine." Jay poured a cup which I simply stole. "Haha. Amazing, son! We're so proud of you." Ed complimented. "Why don't you tell them about the button?" Cole interrupted as he took the cappuccino away from me. " Hehe. It's not ready yet."  Jay glared at Cole as Edna asked about the button. "He's working on a special defense system." " Something every ninja headquarters needs." Zane and Kai spoke as Ed asked about what it does and if he could help. "No, it's okay. I don't need your help, dad. Let's just leave it alone. Hey, look at the time. Don't you need to get back before it gets dark? I told you, there's dangerous Serpentine out there." Jay warned, just wanting his parents to leave. "Uh, I suppose we could get back," Ed said sadly. " Edna, it was a pleasure hearing about Jay's first potty time." Cole snickered. "Oh, if you thought that was good, wait until you hear the story about the time I caught him kissing his pillow!" Edna replied much to Jay's embarrassment as he reminded them about snakes again. " Ok, we're going, we're going." His parents walked away and we followed.

Jay's parents got into their car, " So you promise to come to the junkyard to visit your mother and father?" Edna asked. "Yes, I promise! But only if you leave. I don't want you to get hurt. It's getting dark. Uh, your headlights are working, right?" Ed turned on his headlights causing everyone to shield their eyes. Oh god, it felt like the sun was crashing in on our eyes. It buuuurns. "Heh, like 'em? I used a little extra juice." Ed turned off the headlights. "Yep. Bye, son. I couldn't be more proud." Ed said driving away. "And bring Nya with you, will ya? I can see why you like her." "Mom!" "Now that they have left, maybe Jay can teach us the art of...kissing pillows" Sensei Wu snickered and we all laughed.
