Zane and Cole were driving to the Mountain of a Million Steps. Cole did a flip out of his vehicle as it disappeared, Zane doing the same except twirling. Zane groaned looking at his pink gi. "Well, our vehicles won't traverse the steps. We go the rest of the way on foot." Cole told his pink wearing friend. "But this is the Mountain of a Million Steps. Aren't we pressed for time?" Zane asked. " Then we'll take a shortcut." Cole motioned for Zane to get on his back. Zane gave him a confused look but did it anyway. Cole jumped up onto the mountain and started to climb it. " Am I holding on too tight?" Zane questioned, afraid he might be accidentally hurting his friend. " Light as a feather Pinky!" Cole replied happily even though Zane was incredibly heavy. Cole was already planning a new work out. " Almost there," Cole muttered.

The two reached the entrance of the Constrictai Tomb but they were too late, the tomb was already open. " Looks like Pythor was already here. Perhaps we should investigate." Zane stated, looking into the empty tomb. Cole panted heavily. " Give me a second. Phew, go on and start without me." Zane nodded and went inside. He took out a torch and walked over to the walls of the cave. " Huh, didn't a momma snake ever tell them not to draw on the wall?" Cole asked, sliding down the rope. " There images describe a legend about one tribe uniting them all." Zane pointed out. " Those snakes had been at war with each other for centuries." Zane got a bad feeling as he continued to read. " Well, it says here, once they unite, they can find the Four Silver Fangblades that will unleash the Great Devourer. An evil that will consume all of the land, turning day into night." Zane shivered. " You get all that from those little pictures?" The other male asked. " This gives me deep concern. If Pythor's not here and unites all the tribes together before Kai and Jay find him-" " Relax Zane. They're a bunch of dumb snakes who believe in fairy tales." Zane was about to correct him on how they also believed in, quote on quote, "fairy tales." " If anything, we've got all the- Did you feel that?" Cole felt the ground shake under him. 

Zane looked at the boy in black, " What?" " There's something in the ground. Don't move." Cole told the other boy before a snake came out of the ground and wrapped its tail around Zane. " I've been waiting for you. Pythor seness his regards." Zane tried to get away from the serpentine. " Did you stay behind just to tell us that? Pathetic." Zane insulted. " Looks who's calling who pathetic. Pinky." Cole took out his scythe. " Only I call him PInky!" Cole hit the ground with his weapon causing a small earthquake in the tomb. Skalidor lets go of Zane and went into the ground. " Zane go for the rope!" Zane quickly went over to the rope and grabbed it just as Cole was pulled underground. "Cole?" Zane turned around as Cole was shot back.

The snake swung around the small platform that Zane was standing on before going back to Cole. He backed up and quickly took out the flute that Sensei Wu had given them. As he started to play it, Skalidor came up from under the ground, groaning as he put his hands over his ears. He wrapped his tail around Cole tightly to make him stop. "zaane, zaane" Cole choked out. Cole dropped the flute which made Zane do spinjituz to get it. He picked it up and started to play it. But before he could even get a note in, Skalidor wrapped his scaly hand around Zane's throat. Zane did not give up though, he pushed his hood back and started to play the flute. The snake's hold on Cole tightened. Zane continued to play which finally caused the serpent to let go and groan in pain. " Wrap your head around this!" Cole shouted and hit the snake with his scythe. " Ah, good one." Zane complimented. " Thanks, but if he was expecting us. I think Kai and Kay are walking into a trap. Come on. Let's get out of here." Zane and Cole quickly climbed the rope to get out of the tomb.

Kai and Jay entered the Toxic Bogs and Jay intently was disgusted by the smell. " Hey, it's not me. We're in the Toxic Bogs. This stuff will eat through you worse than Cole's chili."  Kai shuttered at the memory of the Chilli incident. Kai and Jay made their way threw the toxic green land, swinging from vine to vine. They made it to the tomb and Jay opened it. " Pee-yew." Jay's voice echoed through the tomb. Jay laughed as Kai sighed. " Let's just make this quick before Pythor gets here. Huh?" Kai walked away. " This place looks empty. We must've just missed them." Jay inspected the Tomb closer. " Check this out. They say you're the Green Ninja, but I say I am!" Jay's voice echoed back. 

As Jay was entertained by his own echo, Kai was walking through the bogs. He heard a frog croak which made him grab his sword. " You shouldn't sneak up on people like that. Heh, if I wasn't such a well-trained Nin-" Kai was cut off as the frog jumped on a serpent who emerged from the bog and sprayed venom into his eyes. Kai yelled for Jay as he started to hallucinate.

Serpentine came out from the waters and surrounded Kai. " Oh, this is not good. Jay! Jay! There's so many. Elves and gingerbread people everywhere." Kai panicked as Jay finally heard his calls and came over to help him. "Ooookay, I don't know what you're seeing, but this is no time to lose yourself. I need you, partner." Jay whipped out his nunchucks. " I've never fought little people before! We're toast!" Kai continued to panic in the corner as Cole and Zane arrived to help. " Anyone order a little kick butt?" Cole asked and the word butt got repeated in the echo. Jay chuckled a bit.

"BOO!" Jay yelped as a certain unloyal, distrusting, horrible, and disgusting backstabbing fool of a serpent came around the corner. Pythor. Zane took out the flute and tried to play it but Pythor stole it. " Oh, let's not let music ruin things, hmm?" Pythor hissed as the 4 Ninja jumped onto a log which slowly started to drift away. " I've got a sinking feeling this may be the last I see of you four. Though, I wish it was the 5 of you. That little mutt of purple sadly got away." Pythor muttered his last 2 sentences. " That's it! I used to hate dragons, but now I officially hate snakes!" Cole yelled angrily. " Wait, do you see that? A magic floating rope. We can climb to safety." Kai was about to fall into the bog but Jay pulled him back. "Boy, that Venomari Venom is some powerful stuff." The Serpentine started to laugh at the boys.

" For whatever it is worth, it was an honor to fight beside you all. That includes (Y/n) as well." Zane spoke sincerely. Cole and Jay agreed just as a rope dangled in front of them. " Hey, what?" " The magic rope, Ha!" " Quick, everyone, climb over!" Jay instructed as a large Samurai appeared and started to take out the Serpentine. " Oh, dear." Pythor hissed. "Pythor target confirmed. Time to bag and tag" The Samauri said as they shot a dart at Pythor as he tried to slither away. " Who are you?" Cole asked. " How about the coolest thing I've ever seen?!" Jay excited said as Kai confused the Samari for Santa. "Thank you, mysterious warrior. I owe you my life for saving-" Zane was started to thank the strange Samauri but sprayed something that made Zane blackout. " Now that wasn't nice," Jay spoke up quickly but the samurai only responded by making them all go unconscious.
