"Jinnie~"

Seungmin cooed as he nuzzled his nose against his husband's cheek.

"Wake up beautiful."

But Hyunjin just sighed softly and snuggled closer to the younger who radiated comfortable warmth.

He was a heavy sleeper and Seungmin couldn't help but chuckle cheekily as he let one of his floppy ears tickle the taller's nose.

Hyunjin scrunched his nose at the ticklish feeling, slowly blinking his eyes open.

"Good morning sleepy head"

the younger smiled and pressed a soft kiss on Hyunjin's forehead. The latter just grumbled softly and closed his eyes again.

"What time is it?"

"I don't know, look at your phone"

Seungmin chuckled knowingly.
He may or may not have changed Hyunjin's lockscreen last night when the older was already deep asleep to surprise his husband.

Groaning softly the taller turned around, reached out and grabbed his phone from his bedside table.
His gaze first fell on the time
9:54am
until he realized that someone had changed his wallpaper.

The screen that was once decorated with a picture of Seungmin smiling in the camera while Hyunjin was 'biting' his puppy ear was now filled with a picture of a tiny golden retriever puppy, the same breed as Seungmin.

"Why is there a puppy?"

Hyunjin asked, his voice laced with confusion and sleepiness.

"Because we have a puppy"

the younger smiled and pecked his husband's cheek fondly.

"We do? Where?"

Reaching out for Hyunjin's hand, Seungmin placed it carefully on his flat tummy.

"Here."

The older's eyes widened at the realization and his lips immediately curled into a big smile, the sleepiness immediately washed away from his face.

"You are..?"

Seungmin nodded softly,
smiling as well.

"And you're really sure?"

Again the younger nodded and took a small piece of paper out of a drawer from his bedside table.
Unfolding it, he showed Hyunjin the ultrasound print he had gotten the day before.

Hyunjin took the paper with his other hand, not daring to lift his hand from the spot on Seungmin's tummy.
Not when he had just learned that there was their baby in there.

The unborn was so small,
just a tiny bean on a piece of paper but Hyunjin was already so in love with their baby, tears of pure happiness gathering in his eyes.

"I hope it'll really be a puppy,
just like you."
