"Daddy~"

Minho cried softly,
desperately pressing his face
against his boyfriend's chest as
he pulled on Jisung's shirt.

"Hm baby?
What's wrong?"

The smaller croaked slightly,
blinking his eyes open when his little tried to snuggle even closer.

"Daddy"

Tiny Minho mumbled sadly,
sniffing quietly and melting into his caregiver's embrace when Jisung pulled him closer in his arms.

"Why is my little kitten crying, huh?"

The blonde let his baby crawl on top of him, curling up into a small ball on his torso as he snuggled his face in the younger's crook of his neck.

"Had a nightmare."

"Oh a nightmare?"

"Mhm."

"Poor baby.
Where's Mr Hazelnut?"

Jisung wiped Minho's cheeks,
gently pecking his forehead and the small squirrel plushie's head as well when the little one held it up.

But the tiny boy still whimpered softly, nuzzling his nose against his daddy's shoulder while the blonde kissed his head, trying to lull his baby back to sleep by caressing his back and with the little kisses.

"Baby~
What's the matter?
Do you want your paci?"

At the soft whine he received,
Jisung could only chuckle and kiss Minho's soft cheek while he reached over to his bedside table.

Once he found the little blue
pacifier with a small grey kitten on it,
he took it out and held it in front of his little one.

The tiny boy gladly took it,
sucking softly on it as he snuggled
his face back into his caregiver's shoulder.

"Such a good boy,
let's go back to sleep.
Here's Mr Hazelnut."

Jisung gave the small orange plushie to his baby, cutely booping Minho's nose with the bushy squirrel tail.

"Good night little one,
daddy's here now.
You can sleep,
Mr Hazelnut and daddy will
keep the bad dreams away."

"Daddy~"

"Yeah baby, I'm here.
And I love you so so much.
Now sleep, else you'll be cranky tomorrow. I don't want my baby to be all tired and whiny.
We want to go visit the aquarium tomorrow, right?"

"Hm."

Minho was already dozing off,
feeling so small and cozy in his daddy's arms and hearing Jisung talk so softly to him.

A tiny purr escaped him when his caregiver tightened his hold around his baby's waist and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"Sleep well baby, I love you."
