It was Joy's idea for the squad to meet at Jennie's place and have a mini party to celebrate the New Year since they didn't exactly get to meet up on the last day of 2020.

It has been a while since all six of them hangout in one place for more than one hour so Jennie texted back a short agreed message without reluctance. Miraculously, all of them were free and Jennie's quiet house was filled with food, music and laughter.

At first it started with just a nice dinner while soft Christmas songs played from the Bluetooth. Then, they started playing games which involved drinking and soon all of them were drunk.

Jennie really didn't remember much what they did at the mini party. There was a dance off at some point. Someone spelt Welcome 2021 on the floor with gummy bears and Jennie vaguely recalled Chaeyoung eating the gummy bears.
Suho had to physically restrained Jackson from jumping into the pool from the balcony.

It was around four in the morning when they passed out on random places one by on.

When Jennie woke up on the beanbag with a typical hangover headache, Suho made his way to her holding a metal tray with glasses of water and some Aspirin tablets on it.

Jennie gratefully plopped one into her mouth and took huge gulps of water from one of the cups. She managed to rasp out a thanks and Suho just gave her a sympathetic smile.

"What time is it?"Jennie yawned, gently rubbing her eyes to get rid of the sleepiness.
"It's a little after half past twelve. "Suho answered before excusing himself to deliver the water and Apsirin to Chaeyoung and Lisa.

It was around three in the afternoon when everyone was wide awake and freshened up. Suho was the first to leave after treating everyone hangovers as best as he could. Then it was Joy who thanked Jennie for hosting the party.

Jackson left shortly after he was finished puking for the third time in the toilet. Chaeyoung and Lisa were the last to leave. Jennie walked them to the door.

"Hey, did we tell you guys that Chaeyoung and I are dating?"
Lisa asked before exiting.
Jennie thought about it. They did shared some secrets and embarrassing personal stories that their sober selves wouldn't have even dream of telling a word but Jennie couldn't really recall anything clearly. "I don't know, maybe."
"Oh, we are dating."Lisa's reached out Chaeyoung's and entwined it.
"Yes, we are."Chaeyoung confirmed and she lifted their locked hands up.
"Oh, cool. "
"See you later, unnie."Lisa said.
"Yeah, see ya." Jennie closed the door and considered sleeping again.

Thank God her friends had helped her clean up because the idea of the nap was so tempting Jennie wasn't in the mood for any work.

She didn't really feel like dragging her feet all the way upstairs to reach the bedroom so she decided the couch would be a nice substitute.

Jennie was just getting comfortable, snuggling her face into one of the plush pillows when the doorbell rang. Jennie groaned at the disturbance. She stomped to the front door.

She checked which one of her friends had forgotten who knows what on the little screen next to the door but was confused to see a stranger.
Wanting to get back on the couch already, Jennie swung the door open and faced the stranger.
"Hi!" The stranger's lips formed a heart as she smiled. Jennie's eyes flickered to strange belt on the woman. Was it even a belt if it didn't have a buckle and was made entirely of metal? As if the belt or just a metallic strap wasn't odd enough, the stranger was wearing blue leather(well, kind of looked like leather)long sleeved shirts with matching pants.
"I am Chu!"
Jennie glanced up at the woman.
"I am an alien and will you be my Earth Guide?"
