[January 9th]

"Hey, not observing my morning routine today?"
Jennie asked Jisoo who was sitting on the couch this time.
"Jennie!" Jisoo happily greeted her.

"Morning, Chu."
"Good morning. And I already observed yesterday so I'm fine."

Jennie sat down next to the Jisoo but as soon as she did, Jisoo jumped up from the couch and sprinted to the kitchen.

Whether it was an intentional avoidance or not, Jennie would admit that she was a little hurt.

But Jisoo sprinted back to where Jennie was and she grasped Jennie's hand." Come on!"
She pulled Jennie up." I made you breakfast!"
"You did?" Jennie exclaimed.
"Yeah!" She confirmed, clearly proud of her herself.

She led the human to the kitchen where two identical red bowls were residing on the counter with two spoons next to them.
"That's so thoughtful of you."
Jennie smiled."Thank you-oh."

Jisoo was oblivious to the look on Jennie's face and continued to talk cheerfully." I figured cereal would be the easiest to make so that's what I chose! Just put the cornflakes in the bowl and add milk. But I was like why add milk? When water is so much better. So ta da!"

She slid a bowl closer to Jennie.
"Cereal and water!" She handed the spoon to Jennie, who took it with uncertainty.

Jisoo ate a big spoonful of the watered cornflakes and she waited for Jennie to do the same thing.
"Chu, the thing is you don't put water in your cereal."
"You don't? Like...never?"
"Yeah, never." Jennie confirmed tentatively.

Jennie gauged Jisoo's reaction to this new piece of information.
"Oh." Jisoo visibly deflated."I ruined breakfast. I just wanted to do something for you. As a thank you for letting me stay with you."

Jennie patted Jisoo's shoulder to give some comfort." It's okay. It's the thought that counts. Besides, you can still make me breakfast if you want. Just pour milk in it this time."

That seemed to cheer the alien up.

"And this is basically like mini cinema room." Jennie announced, opening the door and let the alien in.
"Ooh." Jisoo wandered around the room."This is a nice room."

Jennie shrugged." It is.",she agreed, walking over to the coffee table and piled the snacks on it.

There were a big couch and two beanbags facing the
giant flat screen TV. Chaeyoung and Lisa would always share one beanbag even though there was other plenty of spaces to sit around. Jennie wondered why she didn't noticed that the two of them were more than friends.

Looking back, there were so many signs.

There was also a big fluffy pink carpet so if she or her friends feel like sitting on the floor, it would be comfortable.  It used to be a white carpet but Chaeyoung accidentally spilled soda all over it once.

Even though Jennie reassured her it was fine, Chaeyoung still felt guilty and bought her a brand new carpet the next day.

"You're a director?" Jisoo asked when she noticed the awards Jennie received on the shelf.
"I am." Jennie said, couldn't helped the pride that seeped into her tone.

She had always dreamt of being a movie director when she was a little kid and now that dream was fulified. One of the best things ever that happened to her.

"Are we going to watch your movies?"
"Depends on which genre we'll be watching. Are you familiar with the variety of genres we have?"

"It's one of the topics I had to study for the Earth test."
"So, you are familiar with it."
"You can say that... but I have the tendency to forget about the things I study after answering the test."
