Jennie started gaining conscious after a good night sleep. Eyes still closed,she let out a sleepy yawn . Instead of getting up she felt like being under the warm, comfortable blankets longer so that was what she intended to do until-

"Good morning,Jennie!"

Jennie yelped and shot her eyes opened. "Chu?" She rapidly blinked a few times and focused on the alien standing at the edge of her bed.

"What are you doing here?"
Chu tilted her head with confusion. "I already told you. I am here to learn and experience-"

"No,I know that."Jennie sighed and she felt the last of sleepiness vanished away,all thanks to a certain alien.

"I meant what are you doing standing in my room again while I sleep? I already gave you permission to explore the house. You don't need to come ask me again."

"I am here to observe your morning routine. That is, if you don't mind. I forgot to do that the last time I was waiting for you to wake up."

"What time is it?" Jennie propped up one elbow and glanced at the digital clock on her drawer. She groaned when she realized it was only a few minutes after six and she could have gotten at least one more hour of sleep.

With one smooth move,she buried her whole body under the blanket and turned away from the standing alien. It was too early and too cold to start the day.

"Jennie?"Chu called her out.
"Jennie Kim?"
"Human?"
"My Earth Guide?"

"Oh my god." came Jennie's muffled response from under the blankets."Yes,Chu?" She asked with strained patience.

"So,can I observe your morning routine?You won't even know I'm there!"Chu exclaimed.
"Doubt it."Jennie mumbled under her breath. Nevertheless, it was clear that sleep might be impossible now so she might as well let herself be observed.

Jennie dragged herself into the bathroom and Chu followed her. In her hands were that tablet device again with the usual symbols and words Jennie couldn't understand.

She really should ask about what that device was but not now. She doesn't care about almost anything during the early mornings.

Jennie grabbed her toothbrush from the cup and she squeezed the tube of toothpaste onto the toothbrush. After she brushed her teeth. She rinsed her face with water.

She turned to see Chu staring at her with deep interest.
"So,umm,that's part of my morning routine."Jennie said ,a little awkwardly, not sure if the alien wanted her to explain or not.

"Can I try that?"Chu asked, pointing to the toothbrush.
Jennie raised her brow after she wiped her face with the fluffy towel."Brushing your teeth?"
Chu nodded enthusiastically.

"Sure. I have a new toothbrush."
Jennie opened the cabinet beside the mirror and handed Chu her toothbrush who took it with excitement brimming in her eyes.

Jennie stifled a chuckle. Everything simple was exciting to Chu.

"You saw what I did there,right? I don't need to show you again?"

"I got it." Chu casually let go of the tablet she was holding from her hand.
"What the-"Jennie's reaction to Chu dropping the device like it was trash wasn't even completed when her jaw dropped.

Jennie stared at the device which was hovering just a few inches from the floor tiles.
"Oh wow!"Jennie and Chu said at the same time but in different tones. Jennie was shocked whereas Chu was delighted.

"This tastes so delicious!"Chu waved the tube of toothpaste in the air, the toothbrush hanging from her mouth.
"Uh-huh, wait-what?"Jennie's attention snapped back to the alien.
