She's Not My Girlfriend

[January 10th]

It turned out the preparator that caused the noises from the guestroom was a squirrel. Apparently, Jisoo left one of the windows opened.

Jisoo felt much braver during daytime. So, the two of them finally went to check the noises and found a cute little squirrel on the drawer. A lamp, a book and an alarm clock were on the floor. So that's where the thud came from.

The critter scurried back outside when it saw the human and the alien.

But Jennie had to admit she slept really well when she was hugging Jisoo, so she wasn't even mad Jisoo got scared and stayed in her room for nothing.

"Tripping over myself.Aching, begging you to come home." Jennie sang as she wiped the water droplets on her face with the towel.

Physically, she was coming out of the bathroom in her house. Mentally, she was at her world tour.

"And now that I'm without your kisses. I will be needing stitches."

"Just like a moth drawn to a flame.Oh ,you lured me in, I couldn't sense the pain."

"You have a nice voice."
Jennie's heart lurched and she stumbled back. "Oh my God. You scared me! "Jennie exclaimed, one hand on her chest, and the other gripping the edge of her vanity table.

"Sorry." Jisoo replied cutely in English. The alien was sitting cross-legged on the middle of the bed while the device on her lap was flashing with rows and rows of green symbols. "Group chat. You know how they're like."

Jisoo glimpsed down at the screen and let out a dramatic gasp." I can't believe she just said that!"

"Jisoo, what are you doing in my room? You are usually downstairs during the afternoon."
"I got bored and came to hang out with you but you were in the bathroom."
"Yeah, I was taking a bath."

Jennie walked into her closet to change out of the bathrobe.
"You take baths quite early." Jisoo noted.

"Yeah. I mostly take them in the morning or afternoon." Jennie replied back from inside the closet. "Why? What time do you take them?"
"I take them at about Fourth Quarter."
"You what?"
"Oh,right. You don't use those terms here. At about...three in the morning."

Jennie gasped."At three in the morning?!"
"Yes. And I take showers. Baths are the one you take in a tub,right? "

Jennie nodded.

"I have never taken a bath before."
"In that case, you should try it. I will prepare a bath for you."

Jisoo fiddled with her thumbs, looking unsure."I don't know."
"Come on, I promise you taking a bath is really nice. Besides, didn't you say you are looking for new experiences?"

"You got a good point. Alright. I'll take a bath."

Jennie was certain Jisoo was going to love taking a bubble bath instead of a shower. Taking a bath was the ultimate way to relax after a long day, at least for Jennie. The warm, soapy water. The delightful aroma from the scented candles. Plus, she even threw in a really cool bath bomb.

Jennie could guarantee the alien was going to have fun in the tub just like how she was having fun in the snow.

She figured Jisoo was probably going to take at least thirty minutes splashing around or playing with the bubbles. So, she decided to go prepare lunch.

She was in the middle of getting the ingredients and the bowls out to make carrot kimchi, when Jisoo,wearing the spare bathrobe, entered the kitchen. Her wet hair left a trail of water behind.
But Jennie was surprised to see the alien again this soon to care about the water on the floor.
