[January 5th]

Jennie tried to wrap her mind around the fact that this raven haired woman, who looked very much like a human, was an alien. No way, this very human looking woman was an extraterrestrial being.

Chu pratically invited herself in while Jennie just stood there speechless as she watched the alien roamed around the living room. Her mind still a little hazy from the hangover, she dimly registered the alien asking for a place to sit and Jennie just weakly gestured to the couch.

So now here they were seated at the opposite end of Jennie's couch.Five minutes passed with Chu just looking at jet black leather boots with content and Jennie staring at the stranger with a mixture of disbelief, shock and curiosity etched on her face.

"This is a joke."Jennie finally said, causing Chu to shift her gaze from her feet.
Chu blinked a few times, not understanding what Jennie meant.
"This is a joke. There is no way you are an alien. Aliens don't exist."
Chu opened her mouth to protest but Jennie wasn't finished.
"One of my friends obviously set this up as a prank. Who was it? Was it Jackson? Or Lisa? "
Jennie knew she should tone down the hostility but she became grumpy when she didn't get enough sleep.

"I am an alien."Chu insisted.
Jennie scoffed and crossed her arms."This really is a bad time you picked, lady. I have this headache and I am not in my best mood. So I do not want to endure my friend's prank right now."
"It's not a prank."

Jennie rolled her eyes. This was unbelievable. It was definitely some stupid joke. Maybe her friends didn't plan this but Jennie was certain there was a hidden camera or someone secretly filming her a TV show and the lady was an actress.

"I am an alien. I will prove it."
She then spoke a few words that were neither Korean nor English. Infact, Jennie didn't even regonize the words uttered and she was quite familiar with many languages.

"See? I just spoke the language used by my kind."Chu beamed.
"Oh please. I am not an idiot. You could have just make up a bunch of nonsense words right now."
Chu's happy expression morphed into a sad one. "Then what about what I am wearing now?"
Chu jumped up from the furniture and pointed at her outfit. It did looked strange. Jennie couldn't really pinpoint what the material was and that metal belt was definitely not common.
But then again-
"I have seen stranger outfits in movies and TV shows. Tell your costume designer that."Jennie shrugged.

A little frown appeared but she she got rid of it and ran her palm across the surface of the belt.
Jennie raised her eyebrow and watched with curiosity. To her surprise, a little compartment slid opened and Chu took out a flat, rectangular device. Barely bigger than a coin but a second later it expanded to the same size as Chu's hands.

Chu displayed the screen,which was currently just dark, of the device like she was about to give a presentation on her product. But she lightly tapped the corner of the screen and it came to life. Suddenly, sentences written in a language Jennie couldn't regonize appeared. The dark screen was now decorated with thousands of yellow words and symbols.

Jennie eyed the device with wonder. Chu, glad that she had captured the human's attention,cleared her throat. "See?" She beamed proudly. "This technology is not from Earth as far as I know.You can adjust its size and of course it can do so much more but we will get there later. "To prove her point, the device shrunk a little before getting bigger again.

Jennie opened her mouth but closed it again. "It could be a.. it could be a prop from whatever prank TV show you are from."
Jennie argued but this time her disbelief was wavering.

Chu sighed, she did a few taps on her strange device which immediately shrunk to the size small enough to store it in the belt compartment again.

"Do you have a dagger? Or was it called a knife? Oh yes, I have read that a knife is a common household object."Chu asked nonchalantly.
Jennie, on the other hand, got alarmed at this request. Why was she suddenly asking for a knife? Was she going to kill her for not believing her?
