Chapter 7 - Vanilla and Sweet peaches

It's been a few weeks since the news about the fox, I sighed as I continued searching for this omega, I would carry a picture of him everywhere I go. I know it's frightening to see some alpha holding up a picture of another male and searching for him. He is just too adorable, my heart would melt every time I see this picture, I never met him in real life either.

I decided to take a walk and visit the new cafe library that opened up recently, I slowly put on my coat and walked out the door,

"Fuyumi, I'm going out." I tell her,

"Ok, Shouto, be careful!" she responded,

I started walking towards the busy streets of Musutafu, I made a few turns before reaching my destination, I walked into the cafe to be greeted with fresh scents that varied from cinnamon buns to other pastries, although the smell was tantalizing I got a whiff of what smelled like vanilla...what was that scent?...It also had a mixture of peaches, it was really sweet. I went up to the cashier to check it out, 

"Hi," I greeted, the person assisting me look like she was in her 20s, she had short black hair and wore gold round glasses that made her eyes seem larger,

"Hello, sir!" She said cheerfully, "Would you like to order anything?"

"Do you have any recommendations?" I asked,

"Ah, yes, we have the chef's special, which includes the banana apple fritter. The animal shaped mint chocolate mochis, and the cherry whipped smoothie." She responded, "Would you like any of those?"

"Do you have anything to do with vanilla? Vanilla and peaches?" I questioned,

"Sorry sir we don't serve any of those in the category, we just started this business and I was wowed by the amount of customer that came in," she laughed,

I thought it was strange, I certainly did recall scenting the sweetest mixture that filled my nostrils, but I shrugged it off.

"Ok I guess, can I try the banana apple fritter and have a cup of espresso with extra milk." I ordered,

"Good choice sir, I will call your name when it's ready..er, your name..?" she asked awkwardly,

"Shouto," I responded,

"Ok, Shouto, I will call you when your order is ready," she exclaimed,

I decided to check out the area as I slowly walk towards the library area, I went to check out the fiction section and moved towards the aisle, but then I was suddenly hit by the same vanilla and peach scent from the first time I walked through the door, I went closer to the person with a black hoodie and a cap. They were reaching for the book that was probably 3 heads above their height so I walked towards the mysterious person,

"Hey, do you need help?" I asked softly, they didn't turn around, but answered anyways,

"No, it's ok I think i got it-"

They were cut of after they jumped one more time to reach the book, however they ended up falling on me. Heck, somehow their jump and their landing was graceful, but then I felt pressure gaining on me as I fell backwards, I slowly opened my eyes to find a beautiful figure. I saw the familiar two green orbs staring into my eyes, they were beautiful, his eyes would put emeralds into shame, we stayed like this for a couple of minutes but then he snapped out of it,

"I-i-i'm so sorry sir," they stutter as their green curly locks started falling out of the cap,

"It's fine," I responded as I maintained eye contact while patting myself off from the dust, I was mesmerized by his beauty, his pale skin would make models jealous along with the rest of him, but was the eye contact was broken after a name was called,

"IZUKU MIDORIYA! I HAVE YOUR ORDER HERE!" someone shouted,

"S-s-sorry for bothering you s-sir, I promise it won't happen again." They apologized, bowed, and scurried away, while I was still in daydream and practically enchanted by the beauty. That's until I realized I still had the book he was looking for in my hands,

"Izuku Midoriya, huh?" I muttered,

I decided to follow his scent again, hoping to return the book.

"Thank you so much!" The same hooded figure said, "This smells absolutely delicious!"

"Glad you like it! the cashier responded, "You can come again if you'd like!"

The hooded figure seemed to nod and wave as he started to make his way to the exit,

"WAIT!" I yelled,

They hummed in a questionable way,

"I stopped in front of him and handed the book to him, "Here, you were looking for this right?"

He looked at me as he had a soft smile that melted me from the inside,

"Thanks you, sir!" he exclaimed happily and flushed a little, "I appreciate it, would you uh-.. like to have a seat with me?"

I chuckled finding the little omega captivating as a layer of pink dusted his rosy cheeks as he tapped is chin,

"I'm Shouto, Shouto Todoroki, and I would very much like that, I also have an order waiting for me," I responded, "Would you like to find a table?"

"O-oh! Yea, My n-name is Izuku Midoriya, n-nice to re-meet you Todoroki-kun!" he joked still flustered,

I smiled at him as I heard my name coming from the counter, I saw him walk towards a table while waiting for me while covering is face. I smirked at the gesture, maybe it was fate that brought us together, huh, little fox?
