"WAKE UP LYDIA!!!" Harry screamed. "AHHH WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING HARRY!?!?" I
said irritated. Harry started laughing idiotically. "You should've seen the way you reacted!"
Harry said while laughing. "That's not funny Harry. You could've given me a heart attack!"
After a moment of silence I started giggling, Harry did too. The next thing I knew it
we were bursting out of laughter. "Harry, Lydia, come down stairs for breakfast!" My dad
called from the kitchen. "Coming dad!" I replied. Harry was about to go downstairs until
I stopped him. I was concerned "Harry we need to talk real quick." I said to Harry while grabbing his
arm. "Okay? What's there to talk about?" Harry asked. I guess Harry noticed my look of concern because he then asked, "Is everything okay Lyd? Harry asked his sister. "Not quite. You know how we're starting school at Hogwarts?"
Harry looked at me confused. "Yes? What about it." I looked at Harry in the eyes. "I'm
nervous...What would mom think?" I could tell Harry felt bad for me based on his look he knew I had taken my mother's death harder than anyone in our family. "Lyd it's going to be okay. Everything will be fine. You have me." Harry said smiling. "Plus mom would definitely be proud of you. You're going into the best magic school!" Harry continued. I smiled. My brother always knew how to make me feel better, even at my lowest times. "Thanks Harry, now let's go eat breakfast."
We both ran downstairs excitedly to have our first meals of the morning. "Good morning
kids. Are you excited for your first day at Hogwarts?" Harry smiled and looked at me,
"I don't know Lydia. Are we ready?" I smiled. "Of course we are! This is gonna be so fun!!"
I said excitedly. I was still a little concern, but I tried to hide it as best as I could. "I'm glad you two are excited. Remember to be good. Your train tickets
are on the counter." I was confused. "You mean you're not taking us?" Harry's smile faded
"Lyd, sweetheart I have to go to work if I'm late again I will get fired...I'm sorry sweetie." My dad
said looking at me. I was devastated I really wanted the last chance to say goodbye to my father before I went off. I didn't wanna bother him thought so I accepted it, " I understand father."
After Harry and I finished breakfast we headed to the train station. "9 3/4? That doesn't exist
though" Harry said confused. "Odd" I said. I started looking around to see if I could find it. We finally found it when a lady
called, " 9 3/4 COME ON NOW EVERYONE!!" it was Molly. Harry and I ran towards Molly. Next
to Molly was a boy who looked just like her "I heard you were calling for the 9 3/4 train?" I
said to Molly. "Of course. Is it your first time going to Hogwarts?" Molly asked cheerfully. "Yes, I'm
Lydia Potter this is my brother Harry Potter." I said smiling. "Great! Now just run towards
this wall right here, and you'll find your train!" Molly said pointing at the wall between train 9
and 10. Harry and I were both very confused but agreed to do it. If Hogwarts was magical it was probably likely the way there is also magical. Harry started running
towards the wall, and ended up on the other side. Where he saw train 9 3/4. Then it was my
turn, "Here I go!" I started running towards the wall, and ended up on the other side too.
"Let's get on the train now." said Harry. We both walked onto the train, and that's when our journey
began. We sat down in one of the seats and began talking to each other. Then a boy came up.
It was the same boy that was next to Molly. "May I sit here? All the other seats are full." I
looks at Harry. "Of course have a seat." Harry said. "I'm Ron, Ron Weasely, and who is this pretty
lady here?"Ron said looking at me. I blushed "I'm Lydia this is Harry my brother." I said. "Nice to
meet you two!" Ron said smiling. "Hi I'm Hermione Granger!" Hermione said out of nowhere.
"AH!" I screamed. "Oh my! I'm so sorry didn't meant to startle you!" Hermione said.
"It's okay, nice to meet you Hermione. I'm Lydia Potter, and this is Harry Potter my twin
brother." I said happily. "The Potter twins? Which one is the one that has the scar?" asked
Hermione. I look at Harry. Telling him with my eyes to show her. "I am." Harry says lifting up his bangs to reveal the scar on
his head. "Wow the legend is real! Well you three should get changed we're almost
at Hogwarts." Hermione said happily. I then get up and walks toward the bathroom.
I received my uniform days after the Hogwarts letter had come. I was stuck in my
thoughts thinking of her mother's death. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. The next thing I knew it I bumped into someone.
"OH MY GOSH I AM SO SORRY!" I exclaimed. I looked up I saw HIM. "Watch where
you're going mud-" Draco saw me. "Oh it's you!" Draco said annoyed. He got up and brushed
the dust of his robe. "You're going to Hogwarts?" I asked as I was getting up. "Yes, my
family has gone to Hogwarts since it was discovered. Why are you going I thought you were
a mudblood." Draco said laughing. "Well maybe if you kept up with your history
then you'll realize I'm Lydia Potter. A Half-blood." I said furiously. Mudblood should not be a nickname that Draco uses it's so disrespectful and annoying. Draco looked at her
disgusted, "Whatever see you at school Lillie." Draco said as he was walking away. "It's Lydia
idiot!" I rolled my eyes. After Harry, Ron, and I got changed we arrived at
Hogwarts. "Welcome to Hogwarts everyone follow me I'll led you inside." said a tall man with
a large bushy beard.
