I turned around to see someone I missed dearly.
"MUM!!!" I ran towards her with open arms. She chuckled and hugged me.
"Hello darling." I felt tears of happiness leave my eyes. She still looked the same from years ago. "Mum where am I?" I said, my voice was shaky because of the emotions.
She gave me a smile.
"That's not important right now. I want you to know something. I'm not what you think I am..."
I look at her puzzled. Her smile faded, and her eyes went to the ground.
"I can't tell you right now, but what I can say is war is coming. Not any time soon, but it is coming. Soon you will find out the truth to everything." The truth? What did she mean by 'the truth'
"I know this is hard, but I'm afraid my time is up." She gave me a sympathetic smile, and came in for one last hug. I hugged her tightly knowing it was the last time I would be able too. I woke up to the sound of Daphne's alarm. I sat up looking around. I saw Adrian still sleeping on my left. He looked very peaceful. Daphne came out of the bathroom, and smiled. "How are you feeling?" I gave her a light nod, letting her know I felt better than before. I looked at the time realizing it was 9:45. Rather early for me. I got up, and walked to the bathroom, deciding to wake Adrian up later. It was getting closer, and closer to May. The month I would be graduating to Year 2. I was excited, but I was also nervous. What did Year 2 have in stock? I brushed my teeth thinking about what my mom had said about 'the truth'.

Adrian, Daphne, and I had finished getting ready and headed towards the Great Hall. As soon as I came in the Hall got quiet, then broke out in whispers. What the heck? Was it me? I ignored it an kept walking. I decided I was going to let my brother know about what I had saw last night. We entered, and I scanned the Gryffindor table. There he was! I let Daphne know I was going to talk to my brother, and went to him. "Harry we need to talk." I whispered to him. He nodded, and let his other two friends know he was leaving. We left the Hall, and went to an empty corridor.
"Lydia! What is so important?" I look around and take a deep breath, "I saw mom last night..." He stopped, and looked me straight in the eyes, realizing I was being serious. "What do you mean?"
"I'm not sure if it was a dream or what it was, but I saw her, and I talked to her." I started walking around as I talked.
"Okay...well what did you guys talk about?"
"Mum said something about war coming. Not any time soon, but she said it's coming."
He looked at me to see if I was joking. I looked at him in the eyes letting him know I was dead serious. I understood it was hard to comprehend since the person we're speaking of was announced deceased years ago."She also said something about me finding out "the truth." I continued, Harry was just as confused as I was. I could tell by the look on his face.
"Look, I don't know what any of this means or what to do, but we need to talk to Dumbledore."
I think about it was talking to Dumbledore really a good idea? He seems to know everything without us even telling him. Harry takes me hand, and leads me to his office. I yank him back causing him to stumble. "What the heck Lydia?"
"How do you know we can trust Dumbledore." Harry looks at me in disbelief.
"He's the headmaster!! That should be enough proof alone to say he's trustworthy." I shook my head. I loved my brother, but sometimes he could be naive. I grabbed his hand, and led him to the front of the Great Hall.
