We pull up to the restaurant and the sound of Vampire Weekend halts as Ezra turns off the car. He turns to me and I muster up a smile as I reach to open the door of the car. Walking across the parking lot, Ezra places his hand on the small of my back as we make our way inside.

My face flushes from the sudden contrast from the cold as Ezra holds the door open and warmth surrounds me as I step into the restaurant. Looking around I notice an abundance of fish tanks spread throughout the restaurant. We must be at a seafood restaurant, of course Ezra would know I love seafood.

We're escorted to our table towards the back, its walls covered in huge windows looking out onto the water. The lighting around the restaurant is a deep blue, helping to add to the captivation of the fish tanks all around, the fishes vibrant neon colors sticking out even more.

I shrug off my coat and lay it on the back of my chair while Ezra does the same with his. He's dressed in light washed jeans and a stripped green and white shirt, his hair is ruffled as usual, like he just got out of bed, but he looks good. Who am I kidding, Ezra looks really good.

Glancing at the menu we make small talk, though there isn't much to say having caught up with each other on the drive here. A waiter eventually comes over and takes our drinks and orders and then I'm left with no choice but to look at Ezra, my only distraction now gone.

"I don't think I really had any seafood before I moved to Boston, but now I see why people love it so much, the first time I had grilled shrimp I couldn't stop thinking about it for days."

A smile crosses my face at Ezra's comment. "My parent's are fish food fanatics so we would have it all the time growing up, one of my older brothers absolutely hates seafood though so he always hated when we would have it for dinner" I respond.

Ezra smiles and a small flutter fills my stomach, I try to ignore it and remove the feeling by taking a sip of my water. Can my mind just figure out what she wants? God. "Are you going home for Thanksgiving break next week or are you staying on campus since you'd have to fly?"

"I think I'll probably just stay here since I don't really feel like packing up everything and heading all the way back to Washington, I'd have to do it again like two weeks later for Winter Break so I don't think it's really worth it."

"Wait, you're from Washington?" I ask, my mind suddenly going blank.

"Yeah, you knew that Evie, I've talked to you about Olympia all the time."

"Wait, you're right sorry, I think my mind is just fried from this week" I respond, trying to pull myself out from my thoughts.

Before I can think of another thing to say our food is suddenly being placed in front of us. The smell of the food makes my stomach rumble and I start to reach for my fork, not realizing how hungry I had actually been.

"Wait Evie, I wanna take a photo of you so I can post it on my story."

A blush forms on my cheeks but I give a smile while Ezra snaps a picture and quickly types something on his screen before looking at it and quietly saying beautiful before he puts his phone back into his pocket.

My blush only deepens, wondering if I was meant to hear his comment. We begin to eat and I quickly take my first bite of the fish I ordered. Lemon and something sweet that I can't quite identify intertwine on my tongue. I close my eyes as I swallow, savoring the taste.

"How's the food?" Ezra asks.

"It's absolutely delicious and I'm mad that I haven't been to this restaurant before today, how did you find it?"
