It began in mid-August in the deserts of Egypt. A tall, imposing man, with a blade being formed of pure darkness appearing in his hand, was looking at a twelve-year-old with brown hair and bluish-green eyes.
"You will die, Jayden," the man told the teen. "No longer will the Adams family ruin my plans."
"I will never give up," Jayden stated, his eyes staring defiantly into the stranger's dark-colored eyes. "Even if I nearly die here, I'll come back even stronger!"
"You will never have that chance!" the stranger shouted as he stabbed the blade into Jayden's side and slashed towards his back leaving a devastating wound. Jayden cried out in pain. He then too made a blade of pure flame and struck the stranger the same way. They then both vanished; Jayden falling into unconsciousness while the stranger fled holding their side with blood seeping through their fingers.

Jayden wakes up in his room, five years later, his right hand covering his left side. Looking around his room the feeling of dread filling his mind as he exhaustedly murmurs to himself.
"That same night," he muttered. "Why am I dreaming of it after five years? While my body still feels dread and anguish when I've been over it for years? What am I missing? Who is this man and why did he hurt me so?"
Jayden shook his head. He saw the time. It was 6:30 A.M., he knew that he couldn't get back to sleep after he dreamt of that night. So he got up and began to get ready for the day.
