Not Just a Demon

The Injured Man

I was watching Luffy and Usopp practice shooting out of the cannons. Luffy started complaining that it was too hard and Usopp took over.

"Wow you really hit it" Luffy acknowledge

"I did?" Usopp began "I mean of course I did"

"You're the shooter for now on" Luffy said

"So I'm not the captain?" Usopp pouted

"I'm the captain!" Luffy shouted

"Hey if you're going to argue like children then go somewhere else" I yelled

They left for the kitchen and I sighed from the peace and quiet but sadly Nami appeared.

"Makaria, are you ok?" Nami asked "You seem stressed"

"I'm fine" I mumbled

She then grabbed me and took me to the kitchen with the others.

"Why did you drag me here" I questioned

"Because I wanted you here" she replied

I rolled my eyes and sat down next to Zoro. They started talking but the conversation came to a end when someone was yelling and breaking things on the ship.

"Come out you filthy pirates!" the man yelled

Luffy rushed out of the kitchen to see what happened and Nami and Usopp stared out the window. It became silent for a second before we heard some more stuff breaking and more arguing.

"How many are there" Zoro asked

"One" Nami replied

"Then let him handle it" Zoro said

"Wasn't going to help to begin with" Usopp mumbled

"Coward" I teased

They focused back to the window watching the captain and the man.

"No one like you dares to try and kill my partner" the man yelled

"He sounds familiar" Zoro mumbled

"What do you mean" Luffy began "But don't damage my ship"

Luffy grabbed his head and threw him against the wall. Zoro and I stood up and walked out of the room.

"Oi aren't you Johnny" Zoro asked

"Who calling my name with no respect" Johnny questioned

He took a good look at us and jumped up.

"Zoro!" He yelled "And I see settled down with a beautiful woman"

"Thanks for the compliment but you really think he can get someone like me" I chuckled

"No need to be rude" Zoro grumbled

"She's feisty too" He added

"Idiot..." Zoro began "Where is Yosaku"

I walked back into the kitchen because there was too much noise. Nami and Usopp are still looking out the window like a couple of idiots.

"Does Zoro know the guy" Usopp mumbled

"Wait why did he run" Nami asked "Zoro is going with him"

"If you're so curious go and see" I roared

Usopp and Nami ran out of the kitchen and went to see what was happening.

"Is he... sick" Johnny asked "He was just fine a few days until a few days ago"

He started listing things that were happening to him and crying. Nami was walking closer as she was listening to him.

"We were resting on a rocky island when someone shot a cannon ball at it." Johnny cried
