The Truth About Nami

I was flying towards the village, when I heard someone call my name. Looking down I saw someone head blending in with their surroundings "Zoro where have you been" I asked while flying closer to him. Turns out Usopp and Johnny left him for dead and he got captured by one of Arlong's comrades then Nami freed him. He told me that Nami is one of Arlong's comrades but Zoro thinks it's more to why she is with them.

"Also, Usopp got captured for attacking Arlong" Zoro added

"Now he knows he is too weak compared to a fishmen" I sighed

"Or any creature" Zoro chuckled

I continued to follow Zoro even though I had a weird feeling that we are going the wrong way. The both of us heard yelling and crashing causing us to look back. The only thing I saw was luffy calling Zoro's name and Zoro getting smacked by the boat. "How the hell did they manage to do that?" I aggressively mumbled while flying towards them.

Sometimes I wonder how I let someone like him talk me into joining so easy. "Where is Sakura?" I asked, Luffy pointed to his hat as an answer. Luffy asked where Usopp and Johnny then Zoro explained that Usopp was captured and we need to save him before he gets killed. Johnny interrupted us and sobbed "He already died to Nami", surprising everyone.

Luffy started yelling at Johnny "Nami is our friend she will never kill him"

Nami appeared out of nowhere "Why are you here" Nami said

"Because you're our friend" Luffy answered

Nami started rambling on and on about Arlong this and Arlong that, how we need to leave before we get killed and how she doesn't care what happens to us. I rolled my eyes because I can see right through her, like literally her soul, spirit, and etc shows a lot.

"She is so cool" Sanji started yelling with hearts in his eyes "Nami it's me, do you remember me"

"Right" I said sarcastically

"Shut up" Zoro shouted "You will make things worse"

Zoro asked where Usopp was and Nami gave him an answer that he didn't like. Zoro attacked her but Sanji stopped him, which caused an argument. I stared at the one black glove she was wearing and smelt blood then smirked causing her to look scared.

"Can you both shut up" I yelled

Nami agreed "Stop poking your noses in my business" She demanded

I glared at her "You too" I shouted "When this is over we are going to have a talk"

Nami glared back at me "Goodbye" she said then walked away

Luffy fell on the ground saying that he is going to sleep and that he doesn't care what's happening on the island. "Go ahead and die then" Nami yelled then she ran away. The hunter duo tried to get Zoro to leave but Zoro refused because he wanted to stay with Luffy. They went to me but before they said anything, I told them that I agree with Zoro. Johnny and Yosaku said goodbye to Zoro then left.

"Why was Nami-san crying" Sanji asked

"She wasn't crying" Zoro replied

"Her heart was crying" Sanji sighed

"Probably feel bad for killing Usopp" Zoro roared

I laid my head on Luffy chest "Do you really think she will kill a friend" I yawned "She care about you all too much and she's too scared of me"

"I agree" Sanji said

I started to doze off but got myself together when the two idiots started arguing. They were about to fight but then Usopp ran in between causing him to get hit by them. Luffy finally woke up and started yelling did Nami do this to Usopp.

"So I was right" I mumbled

"About what?" They questioned

"Nami saved Usopp's life by faking his death" I explained "She stabbed her hand instead of Usopp"

"Is this true" Luffy asked

"Yeah she's right" Usopp replied

"How did you know" Zoro questioned

I sat up "Did you think about why she is wearing one glove" I answered

"I thought she just couldn't find the other one" Luffy said

"So she was just hiding her scar" Sanji answered

"I believe so" Usopp said

"I know so" I stated "plus with my demon senses I didn't smell Usopp's blood, only Nami's blood"

Sanji started twirling "Makaria-swann you are amazing" Sanji cheered

"Should we go fight Arlong now" Zoro suggested

"Let's get a better explanation from Nami first" Usopp said

I switched to my human form because Nojiko walked up telling us that it was useless and no one could stop Arlong's reign. Turns out that girl I've been seeing is Nami's older sister. Nojiko said that she will tell us why Nami is acting this way but we have to leave. Luffy said he didn't want to hear it and walked off. Zoro and I looked at each other then nodded "we will listen to the story" Zoro said. The both of us sat down and I leaned on him.

"Yeah we will listen" Usopp agreed

"They're sleep" Nojiko pointed out

"You just said you would listen" Usopp yelled

Nojiko looked back at Luffy "I see what you are doing" she thought to herself with a smile "No wonder Nami is upset". Nojiko started telling them her and Nami's past. From how they were found to how their foster mother died and the deal Nami made to save everyone on the island.

I woke to my eyes flashing red at a rapid speed "Spitfire what's wrong" I shouted. I saw Nami get betrayed then her sister get shot. "Makaria, are you ok?" Zoro asked. I started running towards the village without giving anyone an explanation. "Spitfire, calm down" I yelled. I couldn't fly or run too fast because my eyes were blurry and hurting as my eyes kept flashing and I kept seeing things happening with Nami. My vision kept getting worse and worse until I eventually passed out.
