(Third pov)

After a few minutes of thinking and meditating, Makaria had calmed down. She stood up, showing everyone that she is finally stable enough to talk again.

"So, any idea how we can save your brother?"

Usopp asked

Makaria held her arm out and Spitfire landed on it. "First, we should find out where they are keeping him. We will use Spitfire and Chopper, if they are okay with it, to track him down. After that we have to quickly analyze the situation before we move forward." Makaria responded

"I already had a head start on tracking Kuragari..." Spitfire trailed off

"And?" Makaria said

Everyone can see the discomfort from Spitfire as she shuffled her feet. "I found him in the woods along with other demons but most of them are children and pregnant women." Spitfire answered

"Lead the way" Makaria glared before looking at the others "We have to hurry"

Everyone started running after Spitfire, hoping to get there in time. Makaria noticed that Nami and Usopp were slowing down, so she used her telekinesis to carry them. The others took note of her using an ability that she said that she doesn't like to use.

Half an hour has passed, and everyone is panting heavily from running. Spitfire landed on Sanji's head, letting them know that they had made it to the destination. Makaria told the others to stay hidden as they observed from afar.

"Robin, make an headcount of the captured demons while Nami count the hunters around" Makaria said, receiving nods from them both

Makaria waited patiently while watching the sight around them. There were children crying while their mothers tried to be strong so they could reassure them, pregnant women close to breaking down, a few men who stayed by their family side or just got overpowered by these monsters, and her angry brother who was waiting for his death. Makaria glared at this, ready to tear this village apart leaving no survivors.

Luffy tilted his head as he broke the silence "Why can't they escape if they're demons?"

"Yeah, I don't understand?" Usopp added "Well, the children I understand but the adults I don't."

"Most of those women are weak due to pregnancy and the women that aren't pregnant are forced to stay because their children got captured. As for the men, they refuse to leave their family and rather die with them." Makaria explained "If it's not that then they are just weak demons"

"I see..." Sanji trailed off

Makaria sighed and faced Robin and Nami "The headcount?" She asked

"There is a total 42 captured demons including your brother" Robin answered "It also appears they have a few phoenix caged up as well"

"I also counted 25 hunters" Nami said "So what do we do now?"

"Isn't it clear now? We save them and kill those hunters" Zoro said with his swords now in his hands

Zoro was about to run out but Makaria put her hand out, stopping him. "As much as that sounds nice, we have to do this carefully so we don't hurt those women or children" She sighed with hint of frustration "...Fuck"

"It's time you lead like the queen you are" Spitfire chirped

"I may be a queen but I am no leader" Makaria scoffed "I am a loner"
