The Village of Hunters

We had just docked at the island, everyone was already feeling excited while my brother and I were feeling a bit off. Kuragari felt worse than me, showing us this is a demon problem. I made sure to stay close to him, preparing for whatever happens to him.

"You should go home" I suggested

He chuckled a bit before teasing me "Look at you caring about me"

"Do you want your ass beat?" I huffed

Kuragari shook his head, still chuckling. "Not at all" He smirked

Before I even had the chance to say anything, Luffy began to yell about arriving at the village. "Alright everyone, I want you guys not to draw attention to yourselves" Nami said "Especially you, Luffy"

We walked through the gates of the village and the first thing we saw were people dancing. The streets were full of decorations and people. There were even other pirates here. Women dressed in white and gold while the men had on silver and white attire.

Everyone seemed to be shocked or at awe about it while my brother and I were feeling even worse than before. Kuragari was breathing heavily and keeping his head down. I held onto him while looking around to see what's making us get like this.

"Welcome!" A middle age woman greeted, snapping me out of it "I am Mayor Aya"

A few of us greeted her back "What is all this?" Usopp asked

"We are having a celebration to congratulate our hunters on killing off a village near us" Aya responded

We were all confused how this is a good thing. "How is that something worth celebrating for!?" Nami blurted

I rolled my eyes and looked at a building with bright purple flowers and crosses. My eyes widened as I nudged Kuragari to look at them. "This is a village of demon hunters" I accidently said out loud.

The mayor looked at me with a very bright smile as the other looked worried. They finally took a good look at my brother and I, noticing our tense state. "Correct!" She smiled "Not many people guess it right"

"That's funny because Ma-" Luffy began to say but got slapped by Sanji and Usopp

"Hm?" Mayor Aya said with confusion

"What he was going to say is our friend told us so much about demon hunters" Usopp lied

Mayor Aya's eyes lit up from hearing that lie. "You have such a wise friend" She gleamed

"Yes, we do but we have to go now" Nami spoked

Just as we were about to hurry off a man ran over with a serious face and got Mayor Aya's attention. "Ah Mikey, what brings you here?" She smirked

"There are a demon or demons here" He informed causing everyone to tense up

"WHAT!?" She shouted "This has to be a joke"

"I'm afraid not... The flowers has been wilting like crazy" He explained

"Damn it! Let everyone know that we are going on a full lockdown" She glared "No one leaves or come in until we caught the demons"

Mikey nodded his head and ran off yelling the instructions that he was just given. Aya apologized for what's going on before going to prepare.

"What do we do?" Chopper muttered

"I don't know but we have to hurry before Kuragari snaps" I responded "Those purple flowers is going to bring out the demon in us if we stay longer"

"Can you two teleport out of here or make a portal?" Nami questioned

"No, it won't work" Kuragari spoked "I already tried to use my powers"

"Makaria might be able to seeing that she is the Mythic Queen" Robin informed

"Yeah you should try" Usopp added

Knowing that there is a small chance, I put all my concentration into making the portal. It took a minute but I made it. "I can only hold it for less than a minute so let's go" I glared

Out of nowhere, we were surrounded by a group of men with crosses and weapons. Kuragari's eyes became red, unable to hold himself back anymore. Aya ran over with worried eyes, telling us that we needed to leave. She then pushed me into the portal by accident. Now having my strength again I made a portal back to them ready to defend my brother.

As my eyes landed on Kuragari, I was yanked away by Luffy and Sanji. They all started running away, leaving my brother by himself "What the fuck are you doing? Let me go!" I snapped trying to wiggle my way away from them. Instead of letting me go, their grip tightened and they ran faster.

"Sorry but we have to make sure you stay safe" Nami apologized

I felt more arms appear around me, restricting me from moving at all. "Makaria, you have to understand that they have something that can kill you" Robin spoked

I stopped trying to struggle and faced her "A mythic gun? How is this possible?" I muttered

"We were hoping you knew" Usopp said

As they ran to whatever destination, I couldn't stop thinking about how they obtained information about mythic weapons. Many things went through my mind but only one made sense to me. They must've killed a demon with a mythic weapon and figured out how to remake those weapons.

I enhanced my hearing to find at least some more clues to back up my answer. At first, I was just met with awkward conversation and unspeakable sounds but then I finally got it. It was the answer I was looking for but it angered me in every way possible. I then told them how they obtained the weapon.

"What I don't understand is how are they getting more if there are only five of them and you own 2 of them" Robin questioned, receiving a growl from me.

Sanji and Luffy put me down so they could look at me. When they all saw my eyes nearly black they froze and knew this was more serious than before. "They're not just killing fucking demons, they are killing all mythic creatures. This is just a damn demon month for them! They are draining their magic to make weapons and killing them" I snapped, causing them to go into shock.

Sanji had me sit down so I could calm down before I make any irrational decisions. They wanted to speak to me but they knew that I needed silence. I was too pissed off to even move, so we stayed there until I was ready to save Kuragari.

Sorry that it's shorter than usual and doesn't make sense. I am going to fix any mistakes after I get the energy to do it. Hope you enjoy and have a good day.
