Marinette

My heart has never been any more confused.
Luka is the sweetest boy I've ever met, and has always been here for me, but Viperion seemed to genuinely care about both Marinette and Ladybug.

I groan. "What do I do Tikki?"
Tikki looks up from the macaroon she's eating. "Maybe you should visit Luka as Ladybug. You know Viperion cares about you in both forms, maybe try and find out if Luka does too."
I blink a few times to process what she's saying. "You know, that sounds like a good idea. But wouldn't that be using my powers for personal gain?"
"Cat Noir visits Marinette." she points out. "If Plagg hasn't said anything then I think it's okay for you to do it too. Besides, technically you can call it making sure you're a focused Ladybug."
I laugh. "True."

I get off my bed and make sure Tikki is done eating before I transform and make my way to the Liberty.

When I get there, I carefully make my way to the porthole I know leads to Luka's room. I'm not really surprised to see him playing the guitar. I quietly knock on the window and he looks over, looking genuinely surprised to see me. He walks over and opens the porthole to let me in.

"Ladybug? What are you doing here?" He asks, clearly confused.
I smile. "My civilian friend mentioned that you're a good person to go to if you need to talk. I tried to find Cat Noir but he's not out right now."
Luka smiles and sits down on his bed. "That's fair. What's on your mind?"
"I know that Cat Noir is in love with me, but I'm already torn between two other people, I don't know how to let him down easy."
He chuckles. "I have a friend with a similar problem. Does he know that you don't love him?"
"Yes."
"Then just give him time, he'll be alright." He smiles.
I sigh. "Thanks Luka. I knew you were the right person to go to."
He chuckles slightly. "Even so, I tend to make more sense with this." he picks up his guitar and starts to play, making me pause to listen.

I sigh happily at the sound. "It's beautiful."
"Music is often simpler than words." he smiles and puts his guitar down.
"Thank you for the conversation, but I should get going now." I stand and head to the window.
He smiles and nods. "goodbye Ladybug."
I jump out of the window and yoyo home.

Luka

Once Ladybug leaves, Sass floats out from his hiding place within my jacket.
"I was right Sass." I smile and lean against the wall, sitting on my bed.
"Right about what Master?"
"Marinette and Ladybug."
"How do you know?"
"The song in her heart. No two people's Heart Songs are the same, and yet Marinette's and Ladybug's are identical."
"What are you going to do about it Master Luka?"
"For now, nothing. Once she decides where her heart is, I'll tell her that I know. And I'll tell her about you."
"Is that wise?"
"I think so. And if Marinette chooses me, I don't want her to start acting weird as Ladybug because she's worried."
Sass nods and sits on my hand.
"Whatever your heart says."
